By nature, Rosa is… suspicious of people. She’s a detective, and it’s in her nature to wonder about everyone’s motives. Beyond that, her previous experiences have made her… somewhat naturally wary.

But the symbol is what it is, and she recognizes it on this one as easily as she does on Prowl.

“Little lady, huh? Not one I hear very often. You must be one of Prowl’s buddies, yeah?”

“Yep.” Jazz responds, rolling the ‘p’ for a moment, before fluffing out his armor, settling down to watch the human, relaxed and friendly. “Name’s Jazz. Ya can ask Prowler ‘bout me, next time ya see him.” 

She puts her hands in her pockets, tossing back her long dark hair, as she looks up at him. Nothing but genuine curiosity in her expression, lips pursing a moment before she offers a half grin.

“Not for lack of trying, honestly. I don’t think he likes letting people close. I guess in a situation like they’ve all been through, it makes sense, but…”

She shakes her head with a shrug.

“At least he talks to me a little when we’re out in Jasper. It’s not much, but I think we’re starting to get somewhere.”

The detective runs her hand back through her hair, making a face as she does. Working with the Autobots has been fascinating. But at the same time, it can be so intensely frustrating.

She shakes her head with a shrug.

“ If  children  were  wishes,  my  mother  spent  hers  on  impossible  things. ”

“ You  can  think  that  you’re  in  love  when  you’re  really  just  in  pain. ”

“ You’re  not  gonna  push  me  around!”

“ Is  there  anybody  out  there  that’s  paying  attention?”

“ I  used  to  think  that  I  was  bold. ”

“ For  some  reason  I  can’t  explain,  once  you  were  gone,  there  was  never  an  honest  word. ”

“ I  promise  you  that  soon  the  autumn  comes. ”

“ Even  when  you’re  next  to  me,  it’s  not  the  way  I’m  picturing. ”

“ I  don’t   mind,  save  your  lies.  Burn  them  down. ”

“ We  could  do  so  much  better  than  this,  emotionally  in  fences  and  momentary bliss. ”

“ You  think  they’ll  make  it?”

“ Wait  for  me,  I’m  coming!”

“ Please  forgive  me  for  whatever  I  do…  when  I  don’t  remember  you. ”

“ I  know  what  my  worth  is. ”

“ I’m  pretty  sure  I’m  worthless  if  I  can’t  be  of  service. ”

“ I’ve  been  so  good,  why  am  I  feeling  empty?”

“ Everyone  said,   ‘ Don’t  go  that  way. ’   So  of  course,  to  that  I  said,   ‘ I  think  I’ll  go  that  way.’”

“ Your  royal  blood  was  never  meant  to  decorate  this  sand. ”

“ You’ve  broken  all  of  the  promises  you  made. ”

“ There’s  no  lie  that  you  haven’t  told  to  my  face. ”

“ I  thought  that  love  was  a  kind  of  emptiness. ”

“ You  make  a  fool  of  death  with  your  beauty. ”

“ They  tell  me  that  I’m  special;  I  smile  and  shake  my  head. ”

“ Remember  when  we  all  got  drunk?  I  ended  up  with  two  broke  thumbs.  Oh  my  God,  I  felt  so  dumb…  lucky  me. ”
