hey, i am a mid 20s intersex person with a lot of opinions esp around radical feminism. refer to me however you want.
i was assumed female at birth and raised as such and was later found out to be an intersex chimera and have ovotestes, aka "true hermaphroditism". i naturally experienced parts of both male and female puberty and was coerced into an artificial feminizing puberty to align with my assigned sex, until i later refused to continue "treatment." i have had persistent sex dysphoria for my whole life with a mismatch between the biology my brain expects and some parts of my body, and as of the past year and counting, i am finally at my most stable and comfortable on testosterone.
i just wanted somewhere to be open about this aspect of my life while also discussing political sex based issues and the way these things interact and criticizing mainstream feminist spaces, as well as my problems with the rf community regarding intersex issues + a place to be open to debate and questions regarding that.
as a note i prefer to talk about my general opinions and non-doctor related personal experiences above my own personal experiences with the actual medical system itself as it can be a sore spot for me, so inquiries about specifically that might take a while sometimes.
