i hate this fandom. the majority of y’all don’t actually care for black people outside the lens of this fandom, you either want to be for us and against us whenever it’s convenient. you did it with the weed video, any black person who was offended when it first happened and afterwards has been villainized, our opinions aren’t valid in your eyes because you are more worried that your fave has the title of racist rather than the actual racist action! and then pretend as if nothing happened because in the just like you video he mentioned colin kaepernick. y’all did it when zayn and ned rapped every single word to to big poppa, and his dismissal of black people worried about nonblack people making a career in a genre made by black people for black people. y’all did it with sott, misreading that one interview where the interviewer themselves mentioned to blm movement, and some of y’all used that against harry. the incident during hslot london nights 1 and 2, y’all were selectively outraged and expected us black people to just accept that bullshit statement he made the second night to save his ass. y’all did it with the pre super bowl party, for someone to add blm stickers to his guitar for an entire tour and then be a part of a racist organization sponsored party for another racist organization, and then act as if we were just hating on him when his team brought in lizzo for damage control. you’re doing it now, acting as if him doing the bare minimum is a cause for discourse about whether he should be praised or should he be doing more! about actual human lives! black people in this fandom are not fucking pawns to use and be spiteful of whenever we don’t put stanning over our race.
