Closed RP w/ intangible-princess
“Wow, who woulda thought Buzz would let himself get so behind on his paperwork…” XR muttered to himself as he wheeled down the hallway, occasionally giving a quick hello to other rangers as they passed by. He’d just finished sorting out some files and paperwork for Buzz, and was now trying to think of something to do until he and his team were inevitably called for another mission. He could just go chill out in the science bay, read a few magazines or catch a quick nap, or maybe he could find Booster and talk him into a few rounds of Dungeons and Dragons…
Mira ran her fingers through her hair as she inspected her data-pad, growling in frustration. “Come on, you stupid piece of junk! Work, why don’t you?” She groaned, tapping the screen.
She had work to finish up and apparently, tickets to her favorite inter-galactic pop rock band were going on sale tonight. They hadn’t toured in this sector for years, and she just had to get time off to see them! If she got ahead on her work, maybe she could get shore leave, but she couldn’t get diddly-squat done with this malfunctioning excuse for a—!
Mira looked up to see her robotic team-mate, XR, up ahead in the hallway and gave a sigh of relief. “XR!” She called, waving her hand and picking up her pace to catch up to him. “A-are you doing anything? I need your help!”
XR blinked when he heard a familiar Tangean calling out to him, and sure enough, he turned around to see Ranger Mira Nova running towards him, one hand in the air and the other hand grasping a datapad. The robotic ranger paused, allowing Mira to catch up to him, then grinned up at her.
“Woah, hey there Mira,” he greeted her, glancing at the datapad in her hand. “Naw, didn’t really have anything planned, just got done filing Buzz’s leftover paperwork. Lemme guess, you’re having a few technical difficulties, princess~?”
"Do you mind...?" She asked, holding the datapad out to him sheepishly. "You're so much better at this technology stuff than I am." She leaned over, pushing her hair behind her ear and putting her hands behind her back to watch, hoping to learn something as XR got to work.
