I love how the justification for why we haven't had a women president yet is because "Do you really want someone who has control of all of our nuclear armaments having their time of the month in front of the shiny red button?!" My response to that is "It can't be anymore dangerous than having someone at the controls that gets emotionally compromised over a competitive sport where two teams of men manhandle each other for control over a football"

The Eschalon Series of games is the some of the worst designed garbage I've ever played.  Ok, so you're probably a fan of it but let me ask you something.  What makes you so goddamn important in the game when all the NPCs are much much much stronger than you?  An Inn Keeper can kill you with his bare hands even at higher levels! I'm not making this up, I was having trouble with a Dire Wolf and the blacksmith just walks out of her shack and pummels it.  This game is fucking terrible, if you dare to try to deviate even a little bit from the expected skills of the class you choose, you've just successfully broken your character.  Fighters are fucked to begin with anyway as Melee combat is essentially impossible anyway.  All this means is me thinking they actually fixed the shit from the first game as others have convinced me rather than just shitting another game exactly like the last one is that I have to start the game all over again using an elemental wizard.  Hell even the goddamn amulet you get in the main quest is geared for a wizard.  Intelligence and Wisdom buffs.  Fuck you!  It's not a classic RPG, it only looks like one, it doesn't act like one and just because it's an indie title doesn't mean it's so amazing and ground-breaking.  It can suck and it does.
