copinglink culture is your links not exactly being completely voluntary because your brain just automatically uses characters as a coping mechanism, but you're also not a kin because you're choosing to use these coping mechanisms as part of your identity, so you are a linker because you chose to do that, and it's confusing to explain to kinners and normal people
