The DJ was doing his usual thing at the DJ booth, scratching the discs and overall having a great time. That was.. until the strange stench of roses and perfume came in.

He coughed at the faint aroma of perfume, covering his nose in response (he can’t handle strong smells 🥲), he abruptly turned off the music and looked closely at the figure. The moment he locked his eyes in, his eyes lit up and his mouth cracked a smile.

It had been long since he saw a visitor.

"It wouldn't be a fuss, really. I wouldn't mind a friend of mine to have some company. I'm all free, so."

Of course, DJ was usually doing his own thing by himself.

DJ Radical snapped his fingers once again, and the music started to play once again (it was the 60’s/80’s music, typical). He went over to the disco floor to approach Insecure, making sure he looked straight into his eyes.. or maybe not looking much weird.

"I wouldn't mind anything. It's your pick for today, how about that?"

Insecure continues to smile beneath the mask. He was willing to let DJ choose today.

Immediately, he goes for the first move. Grabbing Insecure by one of their hands and taking him over to the break room.

Over by the room, it was pretty usual from what you’d expect in a work setting. There wasn’t any bright lights, it was a quiet atmosphere than what was outside of the club.

He stopped holding and nicks up a coin from one of his pockets, inserting it by one of the nearest vending machines for a soda.

“I’ll get my album vinyls out in a sec! I just wanted to give you uh.. This first.”

But once they were in the break room, now.. Radical stopped holding Insecure's hand. Insecure saw that he was trying to get a soda.

..For Insecure?

"..Ah, hm.. Thank you, Rad. I appreciate it."

He holds the drink in his gloved hand as he waits for Radical. He looks around the break room, and wow. It's way different than what it was compared to the outside of the break room.

He somehow manages to get his vinyl albums as quickly as he could! Gently placing them around the table like they were precious. It looked pretty rare to say the least due to how they were in mint condition shape.

“No prob! It’s from boss to boss, am I riiiight?”

Radical starts to show the vinyls, like an excited kid showing their parents their drawing. He seemed pretty enthusiastic on showing these around.

Most probably that he does anyway.

..He said that he has a collection of his over the months.

Whatever.

Insecure looks at Radical and back at the vinyls.

"Ah, you must like collecting these a lot, huh?"

Insecure asks as he fixes his hat.

Radical sticked out his tongue and clasped his hands onto the table, looking pretty enthusiastic on actually talking to someone for once.

He loved talking about music, really. Everybody else had.. ‘duties’ to do and brushed him off. But finally! He can just.. talk talk talk to his good friend insecure.

“It’s been pretty lonely here at the club since, but I’m really glad you reached out to me!”

Insecure was happy that Radical was happy. I mean, honestly.. Insecure always had days where he would take breaks and all of that and finally.. he gets a day off. Well.. maybe for a few days at best. He told his co-workers that.

"I'm glad that you are happy, mein Freund. You can always let me know whenever you wanna hang out."

Insecure says, as he finally took off of his hat to let all of his long black hair drop down to his shoulders and mostly on his back.

He did an small grin at that response, Radical knew that people were busy sometimes.. But, someone who’s letting them know that? He has never felt so loved before in his entire life. Well, until now of course.

“Glad you’re.. happy as well, Insecure.”

Insecure let out a small chuckle before responding.

"That's good to hear, thank you."

Insecure opened his soda that was given from Radical, but first, he slightly tilted his mask up, just a tad, but you could see his mouth and chin. That was pretty much it.. but he started to drink and then put it down on the table..

DJ Radical replied, checking over to his cellphone in one of his pockets.

Those texts from yesterday, he really had to put an distraction before he went out there to fight well.. Firegrind. He’s no violent person anyways, he’d rather solve things the friendly way but.. Whatever, he should stop thinking about it.

"So.. have you been hosting your clubs recently?"

Insecure asks as he looks at Rad. But.. he was a little curious about what he was doing on his phone, but he wasn't gonna ruin that space for him.

Plus, it wasn't his place to intervene into his privacy, too.
