the finale was a complete nothingburger… the duffers really acted like they made the smartest show on earth when literally anyone could predict how it was going to end. all that buildup for something so obvious and empty is honestly embarrassing as fuuuuck

the concept of saying that the person you loved your whole life, your best friend, the one you told “you make me feel like i’m not a mistake at all, like i’m better for being different, and that gives me the courage to fight on,” one of the people you thought of in the moment you accessed your powers… is somehow equivalent to your tammy, a random middle school crush, is actually insane to me. oh will byers, i’m so so so sorry you were written by these people

i still can’t believe they wrote this, revised it, filmed it, sent it to editing, and released it as the final season of stranger things. like, it’s not even over yet but this is the last season, and this mess is going to be the end of the show forever? there’s no going back from that

i don’t care if they’re trying to throw us off before the release, but the way they’ve been talking about will’s love for mike like it’s some silly childish crush completely contradicts what the show actually presents. like, why would you even say that? it just opens the door for homophobes to mock the community and make fun of the character’s feelings. it’s genuinely so frustrating, they’re really pissing me off
