❀ self soothe during burnout (bubble baths, warm drinks, nap time with cozy blankets)

❀ non verbal regressors (make communication cards! colour them and decorate with stickers)

❀ allow yourself to stim (lots of textures~ feeling the soft fur of your stuffies, fidget toys, rocking, give your whole body a big shake)

❀ safe foods (mine is yogurt pouches or crackers) pick foods with a texture you enjoy!

❀ meltdowns (when i have them i like to go to a dark room, get my blanket and stuffies, a bottle of milk and allow myself to cry and reset <3 be gentle with yourself :)

I wanted to share this on here for regressors alike who would be interested <3

I am making “tiny” letters for regressors struggling mentally or who even need a little pick me up. I am autistic and disabled so it is giving me something positive to do and I want to spread the positivity with others so they know they aren’t alone <3

Autumn is right around the corner! It brings my regression out because it’s so very cozy.

A warm bottle, Autumnl colouring pages, nostalgic movies whilst it’s raining outside.

Autumn regression activities~

☆ rainy walks (bring leaves home and make crafts with them!)

☆ cuddle up in a comfy sweater with lots of blankets and watch your favourite regression movies (studio ghibli movies are very relaxing)

☆ have a nice warm bath with lots of bubbles (play with toys and make up stories with them~ let your imagination run wild)

☆ have a craft day! make a leaf garland or paint woodland animals :)

☆ tiny self care (face masks, soft rain background sounds, paint your nails fun colours)

Reminder~ be gentle with yourself, be kind to yourself and allow yourself to let go of any negativity 🍂🍁✨
