So I talked about a trans girl two weeks ago and funny thing, she took a carpooling with me last Friday. I had another girl with me that's my friend and she asked me how to act since we weren't really sure if it was school rumors or true so when the other girl (we'll call her MJ) entered the car my friend just went: hi I'm M. And omg I was so happy. She did slip when we were talking after dropping MJ off but I kept using correct pronouns and she corrected herself I'm so happy.

I'm sad because I wasn't really in a chatty mood and she seems to have a good group of friends last time I saw her so I didn't say much (Ok the other reason is that she smokes weed and it smelled and I didn't want to talk much to smell it cause I hate the skunk smell of it)

truly one of the hardest things about struggling with self destructive behaviour or addiction is how ur brain is sick, and it starts to try and trick you into being sicker. ur brain telling you that its missing pain is not a sign that u should go back into those behaviours. old harmful behaviours won’t bring a brighter future. identify them as disordered thoughts and go against what they are telling you
