Despite being the wild and rough cowboy, he seemed far more courteous and polite than most men she'd met.

"Now, you're probably not going to want to get those clothes all wet when we swim! You should take it all off," A playful wink as she climbed up and into the water, her body cutting through the night sky's reflection like a knife. With a sigh as she lowered herself into the cool surface, Berry kept an eye on Arxus. Seeing how he might respond.

Her suggestion was making him blush, not that he would ever admit to that. It was simply the warm night making his cheeks heat up. "My lady, you might kill a man with such beauty. Do be careful." He teased as he as well began to undress. His clothes in a pile in the dirt as he slowly moved toward the water. She was beautiful like a goddess. But he knew he too was not hard to look at, and he played that part perfectly.

"Oh, okay! Sorry... I misunderstand things a lot. Sorry. Sorry." October was eager to push it aside, to not question it further. Not if it meant that she was going to be allowed to play outside again. Her grin grew even bigger when he reminded her that she was doing good. It wasn't often that Lucas complimented or praised October's behavior. She happy danced for a second, giggling and clapping her hands.

He watched her dance happily before running off to get a sweater, returning with one a size or two too big. cursing himself that he still hadn't managed to get more things in her size. But, after all, she would grow in to most of the things in that dresser anyway, and it would be such a waste to get rid of it all.

Still leading him through the crowds, it was only a few more minutes until there was no one else around. Perfect. Not that Berry cared too much about other people seeing her do what she was about to, but the cowboy might end up being a bit too shy if there were others around.

"More like they are concerned where you are going with me. A fine young man like you shouldn't be seen consorting with someone like me." She explained.

"You won't have to wait that long to see. Trust me." With that comment, Berry began to slip her dress off. For the moment, her back was turned to Arxus so he could only guess at what exactly she looked like beneath - at least the important bits.

The crowd thinned until he was alone with her. Privacy was not always easily gained and he was somewhat impressed she had known just where to go to get it. A thought that maybe should make him worried, but truly doesn't.

"A fine young man? I don't believe I have been called that in a very long time." Arxus couldn't help but laugh as he spoke. "And I don't think it is me they should be worried about."

Four brothers (although technically five, but October would have no memory of the original one). Four brothers before Lucas - and at the very least, Lucas was the one most attentive to October. The most affectionate one, who was usually willing to give October the hugs she needed.

Excitedly, October got to her feet, pacing around the table. Stars and moths and playing outside! At night!

"Oh, it's just... um... you said I couldn't leave the house for a whole month. I want to do this but... I don't want you to think I forgot what you said," Was this a test? Was the intent to see if she wasn't listening to him or honoring his instructions. It could be so difficult to tell with her brother, especially when he'd already been so angry up until now.

At October's reminder that she isn't supposed to leave for a month, he grimace slightly. Because honestly? He had forgotten he ever said that. But he could save it. "I meant alone of course. If I'm there with you, then it's different. And this is a special occasion, we don't go outside at night that much." Lucas said, like it was obvious what he had meant. "But i am proud that you remembered, Tobi. That's really good, kid."

"And you're amazing, Lucas! You're the best brother of all time." Coming from a little girl, who'd had numerous brothers, that might even mean something.

He smiled at her declaration. Feeling pride fill in his chest. He didn't know exactly how many brother's she's had before, but they didn't count. Not anymore, never again. "And you are the best sister." I answered. Of course, she was the only sister that she knew of.

"I'll put it next to the picture of butterflies in my room."

Oh, she'd crossed a line. Wasn't that how it always was? October would think she was doing good, that she was walking the very thin tight rope over his anger - and then the next second, she was tipping over to one side, tumbling to her eventual death. She always messed up, she always ended up here.

"I'm sorry, Lucas. I promise I'm trying to be good. I really am..." She squeaked, feeling so small under his anger.

"You already are amazing. You just... have trouble sometimes." his voice not stern or angry but... tense. A small reminder for her to listen better. He unhooked their pinkies and then ruffled her hair a little playfully. Wanting to reward her for trying so hard. Glancing toward the window.

"We're gonna change the hearts of all the bastards like you!"
