about your post with the survivorship bias plane and switching only when you think about it, i don't think i get it... can you explain?

yeah ofc! The main thought behind the comic was that the reason we 'only switch when we're thinking about it' is because that's the only time we notice the switch. We don't actually only switch when we're thinking about it, that was only the switches that Pyrite noticed and remembered. hence the survivorship bias plane as a way to communicate that Pyrite was working with a skewed and inaccurate data set
