It's all over. I don't know how to feel about it all right now. But I will share a small story with you. I did my first exhibition in London at the Menier Gallery, Chocolate Factory. Why? It was fitting to me. Especially when I have an actual Wonka Golden Ticket tattoo on my right forearm. Charlie and the chocolate factory was the first book I read that made me realise there was something beyond reality. There were these orange men, a kid that fell into a chocolate river, an everlasting gobstopper! Amazing! All these elements, I believe, helped pave the way me expressing myself at a young age till now. I feel I've become the illustrator I am because of that film. In essence, I always felt I got the golden ticket, (the tattoo). So for those who took the time to buy tickets, come down to London, waited patiently, took trains, lifted canvases, took buses, woke up early, queued in the cold, waited for a selfie, purchased art, ...the reason I gave a chocolate bar out to you with a golden ticket inside, was the idea behind my growth. It was my way to says thanks, for being part of my progression. I won't ever forget this experience and moment nor will I forget you. I've fallen in love with London even more. Thank you to everyone.
