2016 I think? I have a few older pieces but I can't find them right now. he started off as an angel cat with multiple tails. I'm gonna be honest, I forgot entirely why. I think he just started off as a Fairy Tail OC, and was a companion pet. even back then he was a major comfort.

omg, it's him with his sister! it's the first time I had ever drawn him as a human. 2018! only a few years after the last drawing, but it feels like forever. I had taken a long break from art as I had fallen out of the interest completely. 17 years old and just drawing them again.

2019.... I was really getting into actually drawing him. I have like. untold. countless drawings of this guy. he's actually probably responsible for me even bothering to really return to art. my first ever Real Blorbo.

I was a whole ass adult. JUST THIS MAN. different outfits and comics and references. 2019. I became adamant to improve just to draw more.

I tried out so many different things. thin lines, thick ones, different layer modes, different art software. 2019 I was probably the most active drawing my ocs because I didn't have to worry about commissions or the freelance work I did now. I just ground myself into a PULP.

2020 I think is when I looked in a little harder, started actually studying. the anatomy is still wack asf but I was enjoying things like coloring and especially linework. looking at different artists and becoming inspired by who they were as people but ALSO as artists. 19 years old haha. Meyoco and Par0llel were both artists I intensely looked up to, still do. I still go back and look at their artwork sometimes when I'm stuck. this is also around the time Levi (and his sister Abigail) got the brick of color in his hair instead of the weird silver strands. I thought stylistically it just fit better. this was also the start of the pandemic, and also me getting a damned JOB.

MID-LATE 2020!! THE START OF MY COMIC ARC!!! this is when I actually busted my ass to have a simplistic, easy to draw style. the anatomy was wack but the designs got more solidified. (same with my story but I'm not gonna blurg that outta my mouth rn. I'm already blogging enough as is)

then 2021, still working on my comic here, trying to really set in stone who they were to me (that's, somehow, his sister! who imo went through way more drastic changes. only so many times you can change a guy who's wardrobe is tailored tuxedos.) but if you can't tell, I was really starting to burn out again. my workplaces at the time were some of the most degrading experiences of my life, and I just didn't really have the time for art anymore. I largely had to hang up the towel in 2022 as I focused entirely on work, commissions, and real life. I was STILL kinda working on the comic (I have a few chapters, unpublished, that are in various different stages of work.) but it was mostly throwing in the towel of art.
