The scent of you mixes so well with my drink I am intoxicated more, with your closeness, and the hangover may as well last, to subdue the heartache you are bound to cause.

He slips like the ocean floor, draws back from under the waves, he is gone like his name , that I wrote on the beach, washed away by the tide now,

But my world is the tumultuous surface of the sea, wrecking against walls of stone, immersed in such preoccupation of him.

  Sleep slips   away with you, naked feet on floor,     …leaving the warm bed,   and my hands buried under heavy quilts,    reach out…seeking       the last touch just before you go.

what glows brightest? the street lamp or the looming moon, or my love’s enchanting face, shining through all my dreams of him?

I traveled to a different planet last night.
