This Kaiju-riffic tryout piece ultimately led to Adams scripting/penciling/inking the 1992 Godzilla Color Special by Dark Horse Comics. Art Adams' love for all-things Godzilla is one of the worst-kept secrets in the comic industry. So anytime he does draw the "King of the Monsters", you can bet he is going to give it his all! His level of minute detail is on a par with George Pérez or Geoff Darrow. This piece was printed in the San Diego Comic Con Comic #1 publishing in August of 1992.
