Were we meant to just be…a trio? MORE MORE JUMP! has always been a trio but…

[The words were coming too slowly. The pressure in her head was building.]
Someone..there was…there was supposed to be anoth-
[Almost like an electric shock, a stab of pain cut her off as she yelped. Pain, pain, lots of it. Her head was pounding.]
“Hinomori! Are you holding up alright?” An takes her shoulders, attempting to assist in nursing her headache, yet evidently having no idea what to do.
(It hurts to think about, hurts to think about in so many different ways, halves my head and rings in my ears, the wrongness of how fast we’re getting on with things, how bad I want a singing partner, that voice, that voice from my dreams… I’m missing someone.)
An hisses, struggling to suppress the ache that comes to her.
( emu forced herself to think as hard as she could. a fourth member to more more jump. to wonderlands x showtime. to any of their groups.
strangely enough, she was able to get a clearer vision of star through the pain, though his name was still just out of reach... like how finding a four leaf clover feels out of reach if you look, or like how it was to find a dream of like... a flower villa—
she didn't mean to nearly scream in pain. the idea of a flower village was the worst pain she'd felt yet. why? why that of all things? )
[The constant onslaught of headaches casting agonized expressions on herself and the people around her began to uneasy Mafuyu. She grimaced.]
“A fourth member of More More Jump…who is to say that isn’t the…situation for the rest of us?” [The purple haired lyrisict chose her words carefully, despite feeling deep down whatever was listening would get her point.]
“We dream of missing someone, or like Tenma-san’s case, multiple people, and just…these trivial facts- we are all musical trios, yet no one can recall concretely how they formed,” [Another spike of dull, numbing pain. A silent watch it.]
“…It could be nothing, but I couldn’t ignore it.”
"yes, yeah! a fourth member for all of us, that would make sense...!"
saki tries to push past the stabbing headache forming once again. focus, dummy.
"we're all having these dreams about someone, someone who we can't remember— it would make sense if all of us were missing a fourth person, right...?"
[Haruka is silent for a long moment before speaking up, her words slow and decided.]
"...I think you're right, yes. It sounds crazy, but what else could it be? I don't see another explanation."
[She falls silent again, breathing heavily as she tries to stand calm and still amidst the crashing waves of pain in her head.]
"But... if that's the case, then what do we do?"
[She gives a pained smile to An as she tries to stand a little unsteadily, but she doesn’t let go of An.]
If we want to discover actual answers, these headaches need to stop somehow.
As we’ve seen…they seem to only occur when we want to think about this. So…
How do we counteract it?
“Huh…” An remains silent for a moment, allowing the pain to soften and adjusting her stance to accommodate Shizuku as she thinks, before very hesitantly speaking up about the first thing that comes to mind, “Maybe we can use a headache remedy or something? I mean, as in, uh… Painkillers?”

None of you can remember their faces. Are you all somehow..
Forgetting something? Someone?
“Forgetting…” An suddenly jolts backwards, raising a hand to her forehead. “Gh — Headache, don’t mind it!
Still, that’s… quite a way of wording it, y’might be onto something.”
Emu tried to think. Tried to understand what was going on. Then the weird dream that she had after passing out came back, and she muttered something.
“Going to be a star... That's why I call him star, he always said he was going to be one.”
Leaning on the wall, her mind felt like it should explode.
“Him and... Kaito...”
Mafuyu is too focused on trying to drown out the voice in her head to register much else, but she does nod to "forgetting".
"It has to be that way. There's no other explanation for this... why I can't remember how Niigo formed. Why none of us can. The feeling of something missing is cold. I can't let that continue."
"There's a lot of things happening... none of them good."
someone enters the rooftop, panting and out of breath from running. they look up, seeing the crowd of people who had gathered there. it's a lot more than expected— oh well, someone said they might know something…?
"uh, hello~? i was told that there were some people were here discussing weird headaches..."

[She looks around their little group once more.] "Okay, I think that would confirm for sure that we have been forgetting, them... But how do we even start to remember? I mean, do any of us have any sort of leads on these people...? I don't think I have anything to go off of myself, but maybe if you all have suggestions, it could ring a bell..."

A few of us have mentioned dreams. I feel like that might be the best lead we have, since they seem to occur repeatedly and end the same exact way. They almost appear…but disappear as soon as we wake up. So, something subconscious is aware of these people, but how do we keep that memory…well, intact?

Like… Otori, the guy you can’t remember the face of talks about being a star! And in mine, it’s that voice I hear that I never end up recognising. The one that…”
An pauses for a moment, something foreign surfacing in her mind, because in those dreams, together, they’d — “The one that I… remember always assuming was my singing partner — Ack!”
(Oh god, this somehow hurts more than the last one…!)
Emu slid down the wall she was leaning on, before muttering to herself. And glancing at Saki.
“Saki-chan looks like him. His hair is more gold into red though.”
She shook it off, looking more directly at the new conversation member.
“Saki-chan, An-chan, Asahina-senpai... Haruka-chan and me... And Shizuku-senpai said something about Shiho-chan too... This isn't a coincidence. It can't be, right? Saki-chan, do you have weird dreams? Like, wake up all wooshawooshawoosh, headachy when you wake up kind of weird dreams.”
"Yeah- *hack* I'm alright, Shiraishi, it's just the voices again... ow..." Her voice comes out raspy as she rubs her aching throat. She soon turns her gaze to Saki, anticipating her response to Emu's question.

saki walks in as the others spoke, closing the door behind her. she brings her hand to her chin, humming in thought.
weird dreams... yeah, yeah! i've been getting these dreams! though, i think i remember two people in my latest one...?
she states, trying her best to recall— pushing past the growing headache that's already starting to form.
it— it involved... a girl with long hair singing, and an older boy in the audience who looked like... like a—
saki groans as she closed her eyes. she leans against the wall, one hand coming up to clutch her head.
[Haruka moves hesitantly towards the girls, worry clear on her face.] "Are you alright? I- Is this really a good idea, if it hurts us all so much...?" [She pauses for a moment, the glowing orange figure shimmering faintly in her mind.] "I don't have as much to go off as you all, I- I just can't recall... her voice, her face are all a blur."
"But... her, her smile. I think I remember that much- AHCK-" [Haruka flinches, pain shooting through her head and slicing through her thoughts, the brief glow scattered and gone.]
[Shizuku lets out a yelp, but helps Haruka keep her balance by supporting her side. She can’t help but slightly squint, though. This conversation was also making her a little woozy by the second.]
I..None of this can just be a ‘coincidence’ anymore, right? We’re all experiencing the same things, just with different figures. They have to mean something to us, but these headaches-
[She gestures around the group of students.]
-they’re like something that’s actively pushing us back. So we can’t recall anything. Isn’t that even stranger…?
“Huh, yeah… I guess it does feel like that sometimes.” An briefly shakes her head, seemingly attempting to stabilise after her headache. “Sounds a bit like one of those mind-control-conspiracy theories, doesn’t it? How’d something like this even work?”

Gently hitting her head, she tried to think. Think past the pain. Think of ANYTHING.
... A star, a girl with long hair. A singing partner. Memories of coldness that wasn't there. A bright smile...
“Why do your dream people almost... also feel familiar...”
"If she feels familiar to someone else, it might just bring me closer to figuring this out... That's just a 'might', though." She hisses quietly. Headache again. "I think there's something else there for me too, but I don't know what..."

saki mumbles. their voice sounds quiet, a disconnect from how they usually sound.
"we're... more connected than we thought we were? i mean, otori mentioned someone that looked like me, and i—"
they stammer nervously.
"i've... felt like... i've been missing a family member, so..."
[Haruka looks over at Saki, mirroring their own nervous expression. After a few moments, she speaks again, slowly.] "Well, I- I guess we should try and look into these, or our connections then...? Is there anyone else who might be having these headaches, that we could ask...?"

Suddenly... A bang through the rooftop's door, and Airi busts on through, heavily breathing.
Haah... Hey, girls... Sorry for bursting in like this, but... I've heard there was a conversation in here... That was worth involving me in...
Right afterso, Airi falls unto her own knees, gasping for air.

[Shizuku rushes over and kneels down next to her, offering her a hand to help her stand back up.]
Well..you’re not wrong. All of us are trying to figure something out, but we’ve sort of hit a dead end.
[Her eyes squint a little as she thinks about the current information.]
All we know is that we all have this kind of mental gap, and if we think too hard about it, we get these terrible headaches. An, you bring up a point though—it does feel like one of those conspiracy theories of mind control.
An is still slightly thrown off by Airi’s entrance, she chooses to send her a small wave as acknowledgment before addressing Shizuku. “I guess it does— Well, it clearly isn’t that, but that doesn’t matter.” Briefly, she pauses, before turning to Airi, “Wait, Momoi, you said this was ‘worth getting involved in’?”

I constantly get these EXTREME headaches, that are triggered by... Well, a few words, but I only figured they must be connected to something! It's... Well, I'm...

“Nagi-san, wait up!” An sprints up to her, hangs weakly clinging to a pair of shopping bags. “What’s with you and ditching me like this?” She comments. Nagi only chuckles back at her.
“Alright, alright, my bad, An.” Nagi glances at An’s low-hanging arms and her crumpled expression, gauging her tire. What do you say we get something cold to lighten up?” An brightens up instantaneously, to which Nagi smiles, knowingly, familiarly, already able to catch what’s come to her mind.
“Oh, yeah! Of course!” Her eyes dart towards the nearest ice-cream store. “I’d love to try the icecream around…” She blinks. It’s the same store, Vivid Street’s store, the one they’d visit really often. It’s nowhere new. It’s nowhere new.
Nagi raises an eyebrow, An hopes the ache that’s beginning to get at her head isn’t too obvious to her. “I’m guessing it’s there again, An?”

A few of us have mentioned dreams. I feel like that might be the best lead we have, since they seem to occur repeatedly and end the same exact way. They almost appear…but disappear as soon as we wake up. So, something subconscious is aware of these people, but how do we keep that memory…well, intact?

An pauses for a moment, something foreign surfacing in her mind, because in those dreams, together, they’d — “The one that I… remember always assuming was my singing partner — Ack!”
(Oh god, this somehow hurts more than the last one…!)
Emu slid down the wall she was leaning on, before muttering to herself. And glancing at Saki.
“Saki-chan looks like him. His hair is more gold into red though.”
She shook it off, looking more directly at the new conversation member.
“Saki-chan, An-chan, Asahina-senpai... Haruka-chan and me... And Shizuku-senpai said something about Shiho-chan too... This isn't a coincidence. It can't be, right? Saki-chan, do you have weird dreams? Like, wake up all wooshawooshawoosh, headachy when you wake up kind of weird dreams.”
"Yeah- *hack* I'm alright, Shiraishi, it's just the voices again... ow..." Her voice comes out raspy as she rubs her aching throat. She soon turns her gaze to Saki, anticipating her response to Emu's question.

saki walks in as the others spoke, closing the door behind her. she brings her hand to her chin, humming in thought.
weird dreams... yeah, yeah! i've been getting these dreams! though, i think i remember two people in my latest one...?
she states, trying her best to recall— pushing past the growing headache that's already starting to form.
it— it involved... a girl with long hair singing, and an older boy in the audience who looked like... like a—
saki groans as she closed her eyes. she leans against the wall, one hand coming up to clutch her head.
[Haruka moves hesitantly towards the girls, worry clear on her face.] "Are you alright? I- Is this really a good idea, if it hurts us all so much...?" [She pauses for a moment, the glowing orange figure shimmering faintly in her mind.] "I don't have as much to go off as you all, I- I just can't recall... her voice, her face are all a blur."
"But... her, her smile. I think I remember that much- AHCK-" [Haruka flinches, pain shooting through her head and slicing through her thoughts, the brief glow scattered and gone.]
[Shizuku lets out a yelp, but helps Haruka keep her balance by supporting her side. She can’t help but slightly squint, though. This conversation was also making her a little woozy by the second.]
I..None of this can just be a ‘coincidence’ anymore, right? We’re all experiencing the same things, just with different figures. They have to mean something to us, but these headaches-
[She gestures around the group of students.]
-they’re like something that’s actively pushing us back. So we can’t recall anything. Isn’t that even stranger…?
“Huh, yeah… I guess it does feel like that sometimes.” An briefly shakes her head, seemingly attempting to stabilise after her headache. “Sounds a bit like one of those mind-control-conspiracy theories, doesn’t it? How’d something like this even work?”

Emu tried to think. Tried to understand what was going on. Then the weird dream that she had after passing out came back, and she muttered something.
“Going to be a star... That's why I call him star, he always said he was going to be one.”
Leaning on the wall, her mind felt like it should explode.

Mafuyu is too focused on trying to drown out the voice in her head to register much else, but she does nod to "forgetting".
"It has to be that way. There's no other explanation for this... why I can't remember how Niigo formed. Why none of us can. The feeling of something missing is cold. I can't let that continue."
