17. a teasing / sensual kiss.

Hughes stepped out of Elicia’s room, closing the door carefully before he limped over to the couch, taking a seat next to Roy, and peering over his shoulder. The journal the man was scribbling in appeared to be a diary of some sort, where he wrote about his latest date with…Katherine?

“Alchemy stuff or should I be concerned?” Hughes teased as he rested his head on Roy’s shoulder, reading over his note “Gosh, Roy Mustang, you dog. What would Jennifer say if she saw what you’ve written about her? She’s a good Christian woman, you know.” He laughed, lifting his head, and poking Roy’s cheek.

“Roooy~.” Maes sang, his voice dragging out into a loud whine as he pulled the book out of his hands, shutting it, and tossing it onto the table as he situated himself into his lap.

“You get one day off and you spend it working.” He mumbled, using two fingers to pull Roy’s face toward him. “Even the fuhrer takes breaks.” After a long pause, he tilted his head, “Well, maybe not…Bradley…but any regular human fuhrer would take breaks.

His hand slid down to Roy’s chin, pulling him forward, and kissing him slowly. When he felt Roy kiss him back, Maes pressed closer, deepening the kiss, and wrapping his arms around Roy’s neck.

Letting out a soft whine, Hughes let his hand slide down to Roy’s chest, pushing against it gently as he broke the kiss, glancing back behind him.
