IN THE BEAUTY
iotacide:
the air smells fresh with blood, the hunger stirs and the tip of his tongue scratches, licking the canines of his pearly whites. the hit of iron that stirs in the air swirls on his mind, how distracting.Â
the sounds of flesh and skin- dragged, torn and the crack, the release of limbs and the almost satisfactory sound of blood splatting.Â
intoxication. temptation. thatâs what it sounds like, thats what it smells like.
decades of such hunger and desire in its most base and aggressive form is surefire, absolute, in dulling his attention for an almost carnal need for crimson to touch his pink tongue. for him to stay so still, so docile, so good at the wafting smell of fresh hot crimson blood dancing under his nose has him teetering, resolve fading.Â
the sight of pale flesh of young faes, clavicles and arteries pumping, coursing through their necks as they lay limp has his breathing constricted, tense and needy.Â
distracting.Â
be still, be docile, be good.Â
being born calm this aggravation, this anxiousness berates him in the mind, pounds at his ears (you fool, what are you doing here?) his eyes boring into her in her nonchalance, organ harvesting in the dead of the night in the midst of chaos (you fool, what are you doing here?)Â
what is he doing here?Â
and in the decades of women who have kiss his hands and passed diamonds and affections for- this witch, wicked and cruel in her magic is the most unfathomable. his docility is born from the extreme highs that yield endless blisses that rides some addiction, barren low within himself. her hold on his brutal desire tastes sick in his mouth but his mind flies and such sweet songs sing in the taste of her magic and in the lapping of her blood. her putrid hands have tainted him and the picture of oh sehun is found with hairline cracks.
where was his poise? grace?
even in the call of his name and her voice tickling with malice, edging with such want. she mocks him, her eyes gleam in amusement, tempting the blood ridden air into his veins turning him into want, to wanting and to need.Â
he turns to her eyes hungry, pupils dilated and panting. her games are aggravating her arrogance is astonishing. she is sickening, for she is vile and she is desirable.Â
âthen hurry little witch.â seething, words spitting from his tongue in frustration in his urgency. oh how his hands itch to hold the neck of a sweet fae or curl his fingers around the wicked witch he has succumbed to and let his teeth sink.
romantic isnât it?Â
she exists as a diabolical menace, her magic surges with vibrations that haunt in his bones, leaving his chest cavities empty on a low after a high.Â
of the creatures that thrive in the dark, the most ruthless is perhaps those that can be seen in daylight. those with their black tresses, almond eyes, shaped clavicles, and thin wrists. those whose blood beats red and pure through busy veins. those who are human, nay, witches. those who are like our little witch.
but perhaps she had not been born ruthless, perhaps mother had not given birth to a child wicked (devil's wife as she is). certainly, mother had not taught her hunger. had not taught her thirst. had not taught her to bite, crush the bones of innocent between her molars. had not taught her to dip into magic forbidden to their coven.
and yet she knows them. lies and betrays and manipulates like second skin. deception wrapped around her tongue like barbed wire.
nothing bex has to offer is to be trusted.
if you haven't figured it out now you surely will later. Â
but we return to the wicked, the vultures that swarm on the tails of destruction, picking at slabs of meat and boneâwe return to our little witch and her little vampire, with her dainty hand deep in the open chest of an unfortunate fae and his throat aching for blood.
not that she doesn't know.
not that she'd do anything about it.
"just wait." nevertheless, our little witch continues in her task, nonchalance thick in the tone she takes up with him. "if this was an act that could have been done easily, i would've just had you do it." she doesnât bother to curb the irritation in her words, head swooning with every passing second of faery blood crowding her olfactory glands.
fae are such repulsive things. even down to their bloodâeven when they lie lifeless, chest cracked open and ripe for pickingâthey manage to be an awful prick at her side. filthy, bony fingers yanking at her hair, taunting her with bastardized magic.
the blood on her skin tingles, begs for her sanity, swarms her head with the lure of its magical properties, the promises of driving her mad with ecstasy. it almost seems too good to be true.
had it not been for his insistence, she would have let the foul blood consume her.
âyouâd best relax,â bex continues in a manner too calm, almost coy almost taunting in the way her datives purr out of a curved mouth, âbefore you attract attention with all that panting, sehun.â her head turns slightly to sneak a glance. to tease herself with the reactions he feeds her. rattle the insatiable hunger for everything he offered herâhis body, his soul, his will and obedience, are they not all his? why not his anger and shame as well?
âyouâre not a dog.â even though she surely treated him as such. even if she intended fully on luring him into compliance with the treat of her blood. even if she has him trained, eating out of her palm, an addict for the deathly concoctions she deals.
he wasnât a dog. but our little witch broke his spine just as easy. molded him into something just for her.
                                      better than a dog.
                                      but a blood slave instead.
the rib eventually gives, drawing something low and perverseâakin to a chuckle. devoid of any goodness that made it oneâout of the witch as she frees the ward from its prison. finally the thought that hums within her is one smug, satisfied. nearing proud of the act that goes into defiling the corpse for personal interest.
but selfish had always been one of her defining traits.
âsehun.â how easy it is to purr his name, to know that behind her stands a vampire ravenous. aching to tear at her, at the disfigured corpse for even a morsel of blood but all the same yielding. yielding on nothing else but her word.
and it is that, the power she holds over him, that has her drunk on pride.
âwe can go now.â bex is slow to pull herself to a stand, spine straightening before her attention turns to the creature behind her, a ghost of a sneer crossing fair features. it takes but a step or two, till she is directly before him, dark eyes flicking over the delicious look of contempt that seems to be brimming underneath handsome features. perhaps irritable that she had him wait.
wicked thing, ego, fills the hollows of chests and eats at rationality like a cancer.
âif you are ready.â her voice edges on mocking, noting the way his eyes flick to the bloody corpse behind him. âunless, that is," and this, bex speaks on the lift of her toes, lips ghosting past his jaw to whisper directly into his ear. âyouâd rather take a moment and help yourself to that rotting carcass.â
her bloodied fingers find his face, fingers rubbing over his mouth, feeling the slightest prick of his fangs in the process of leaving behind a trail of the fae on his lips.
bex doesnât have to pull back to know the expression that crosses the vampireâs face. pupils dilated, lips curled, almost animalistic. yet she does, anyhow, finding the most pleasure in seeing this look on him.
in seeing just how easy it was to manipulate him.
in crumbling a vampireâs so-called pride with her bare hands.
easy.
âso?â their eyes meet. and her lips paint the picturesque instance of complacency.                         âwhat will you do, little vampire?â
