In the words of someone - All things too must pass. Over four and a half years ago I started this blog, in that time I have turned 16, turned 18, graduated high school, started university, fell in love with many tv shows and fallen out of love with just as many. I have made life long friends, and come in contact with people I will never forget. But the time has come when I no longer need this blog. And so it shall be left here as a little stamp of my time on the internet. But who I am kidding talking like I am actually going to become a functioning member of society I have a new blog go follow me there instead.

His hands clutch her cheeks and she shakes him off, backing away, as far as the handcuffs will allow. She glances at his hands, still lingering in the air, and then at the stone that glows yellow whenever she is near. Something shifts in her expression. Something colder and harder and meaner, still. Her hand find her pendant, and for one brief second Ward allows himself to hope that she is thinking of their connection, of his love, of something other than the truth that she is faced with. She wraps her hand around it and tugs. The leather cord snaps and she pulls it out of her hair, pendant still clutched in her palm.

“Skye,” he whispers. “What are you doing?”

“Fixing this,” she says. She lets the pendant drop. It is quick, but he feels as though he watches it turn and scream and then finally clatter to the floor. She stares down at it for only a second. Then she lifts her shoe and steps, hard, on the stone. He hears it crunch and it hurts like a bone breaking. Like every bone breaking. She grinds her foot down, for good measure, and when she pulls back there is nothing there but glass. His stone goes cold.

“You never wanted a soulmate,” she says. “Now you’re free.”

“I can get you another necklace,” he says.

She looks him dead in the eye. “Give up, Ward,” she says. “It’s over.”

It’s not over. He’ll get her a new necklace. She can’t just, she won’t just-he looks at the glass again, and then back to her.

“We’re soulmates,” he tells her. It’s the first time he’s ever said it.

“That’s too bad, isn’t it?” she asks. She kicks at the glass. “That’s just too damn bad.”

I started ballet at the ripe old age of three. My mom enrolled me after seeing me in front of the TV jeteing and debouleing to the Blues Clues theme song. That ballet class was one of the few places that just seemed to fit. And even when I saw some of the kids and their parents laughing at me, something inside my little brain said, ‘Screw them. Just go for it, Hummel.’ My can-do attitude was born in that room.
