We're spending August discussing the prompts, my thoughts behind choosing them, and occasional explanations for those who may be confused by some of them. 😘
Today we're talking about:
𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝟣𝟥: 𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙭 | 𝙎𝙚𝙭 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙧 | 𝘼𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙠
𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙭 is something that, I think, a lot of people feel silly about. After all, how many of us normally describe what we're doing/feeling all throughout a sexual experience? There's an awkwardness to it that makes people snicker and find it hard to take seriously.
But there are many reasons to give phone sex a go, some of which are out of necessity (long distance relationship, for example), many of which are for fun (sex doesn't always have to be serious, my friends!), and plenty that are very much about the arousal factor. Because while it may feel silly and awkward at first, there is something undeniably sexy about your partner describing a scenario that gets them all worked up. This one, in my opinion, is about having an opportunity to learn more about what your partner likes, as much as it is about the sexual gratification itself.
𝙎𝙚𝙭 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙧 can be a fun dynamic to play with because what you've got here, at the core, is a PROFESSIONAL. A SEX professional. 😆 This character could be a phone sex operator, a camgirl/boy, someone with a spicy Patreon, someone who works at or owns a strip club, or a brothel, or a sexy massage parlour. There are tons of options, and you can also go in a variety of directions concerning the dynamic between the characters. Your sex worker could be happy in and proud of their profession, someone who was happy once but is now looking to retire, or they could be someone who got caught in bad situation and now can't escape. Their client could be a nerve-wracked newbie, an enthusiastic regular, someone who just happens to be lucky enough to find themselves in this person's orbit, or perhaps even a real-life friend who is secretly desperately in love. Maybe you've even got two different types of sex workers who somehow find one another and know just how to help one another relax after a hard day of tending to other people. 😏
𝘼𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙠 is a broad-spectrum concept that, at its core, boils down to being sexually aroused by sound. The nature of that sound can be virtually anything your imagination comes up with. It can be as obvious as listening to a narrator reading an erotic story, or as random-and-seemingly-innocuous as that scratchy sound some ASMR creators do when they drag their nails over a muffled microphone. Long story short, if it's the listening itself that gets your blood pumping, before any other physical touch has come into play, it probably falls under the category of 'aural kink'.
I personally didn't know this one was a thing until it became a prompt in a previous Kinktober list, but in retrospect it makes a lot of sense for the Ineffable pair... Crowley listening to Aziraphale moan while he eats, anyone? 😜
