Hi I deleted that tweet cause I ended up having people telling me to take my own life in twitter DMs and is entirely unrelated to anything over here. Personally, I don’t like getting death threats.

If you don’t want to read the rest, okay: unfollow me if you want I genuinely do not care. This is my art blog not an mcyt blog. My take has always been “I will not break cc boundaries and I don’t agree with it but I have all the tags/keywords muted and just won’t interact if I don’t like.” I made a post where I didn’t even reply/qrt the original tweet because I wanted fo just comment on it and didn’t expect it to blow up. Shit performed better than my art typically does. Block me, whatever, idc. You dont need my permission to unfollow me

I’ve been on tumblr since 2021, this is a blog dedicated to posting art of whatever interests me. Ive been in many fandoms outside of mcyt and you can very very easily look at my old art/posts and see that. This isn’t my mcyt blog and I want to make that clear. Right now it’s themed after mcyt cause that’s what I’m interested in but before that it was entirely Prsk themed, and before that sky cotl themed, etc. I’m not going to leave tumblr just because I don’t like breaking cc boundaries? I just. Muted tags and just move on. It’s really really easy to curate your online experience.

I’ve always been “follow cc’s boundaries but if you don’t I’m not going to harass you over that but I will just block and move on.” I think historically speaking I’ve been pretty clear about that. So often I just see a cool drawing, follow the person, and then not even realize they’re doing whatever since I have tags muted. Like. It’s that simple.

However I fully believe that the tweet that sparked this whole thing on twitter shouldn’t have been made on twitter, especially considering they literally went against what they said (don’t post boundary breaking things in a space where ccs can see it). This paired with the fact that many many ccs are minors (like. 14-17 year olds) and are on twitter and effectively just read a tweet that said “hey your boundaries are allowed to be broken if you don’t know it’s happening.” It’s not something that you should post.

I don’t agree with breaking cc boundaries but for the most part i’ve just. Blocked and moved on. Muted shipping tags. Etc. I think I’ve made that abundantly obvious. I wanted to say something though on twitter and if you disagree. Okay? Cool! We disagree. Also, my tweets that aren’t art usually only get 1-10 something likes. I didn’t expect that post to explode the way it did, I just wanted to comment my opinions. So if that came off as harassment of the original poster I do apologize for that. I don’t control the fucking algorithm I don’t know what post is going to take off when it does. I’d much rather literally any other tweet relating to actual shit I’m interested in take off.
