Even when everything is going right, it always feels so wrong. A constant battle is taking place and even when I’m on top, it doesn’t feel like I’m winning. In the past couple years I’ve experienced heights some people only dream of reaching and yet the fear of falling keeps me on the ledge.. stagnant. Never knowing where I fit in, or if I do at all, and wrestling with the realization that if I want something different, to be someone different it starts with a single step but my feet are firmly placed because the unknown feel worse than the place I’m in now… I don’t know that I’ll truly ever figure it out or be someone that people will truly see and at this point I think it might be better to just disappear…

I am strong, I am resilient and caring. I give bits of myself to everyone, never expecting or demanding anything in return. But for once I’d like someone to recognize that and offer to help patch up the parts of me that I’ve left with every person who showed me that I’m just not quite enough.
