Memoirs from Himalayas- Part one | Kheerganga Trek | Magical Skies | Heart Shaped Tree
âMagic of Parvati Valleyâ Sometimes trekking is like that, Standing alone under a golden sky,Unhindered by the sense of loneliness, With all the bliss in its heart, Giving, Everything it has, Without waiting to stop the kheerganga trek, For it knows that one day it will, And itâll receive all that universe has to give,And living that life, We go to kasol, We worry about rasol, Holding on to our patience in Parvati Valley, Without knowing what beautiful valleys surprises await us, How many beautiful golden skies. Await our flights, To fill our hearts with love,And our minds with peace. And my love,Thatâs where we will go,Under that heart shaped tree,You and I.
âThe Magical skies of Himachal Pradeshâ
Last night I watched the magic of Himalayas sky, as I decided to take a ten minutes break from my work, and went out at 3:30 AM. I kept the kitchen lights on to keep the ghosts and wild animals away, but Iâm sure they wouldâve been too mesmerised looking at the sky, to attack anyone. So I stood there, looking at the Milky Way rising above the house, while a few meteors/shooting stars flew across the sky, and two of these ended up being a part of the photo. But most importantly, I felt blessed to be here, to be witnessing that, to be realising that irrespective of what we go through, we must never forget that thereâs this crazy universe right above us, all around us, all through the day, and we are a part of it. And then just closed my eyes to visualise all of this, only to find my problems floating away and disappearing. And even though they might still be there, I once again knew that Iâm more than what I realise, and Iâm a part of this, a part of something so all encompassing, you can only begin to describe it by calling it magical. Under it, I stood smiling. Â
âThe heart shaped treeâ . You see, sometimes youâre not happy, youâre not at your best, youâre not sorted in your head or sane in your heart, youâre hurting, youâre trying to make things right, youâre trying to find love, or atleast an inch of it, somewhere, somehow. And then the universe smiles, it asks you to hang on, and it sends forth the most beautiful sights in front of you, as if to tightly hug you and remind you of all the love you contain within, all the love thatâs there for you, always for you. The kind of days that save you. Find someone youâd want to have a day like this with, I had mine with her, when we chilled near this tree, somewhere in the fields of Bir billing
