The car ride to the airport is a quick one and before he knows it, they reach their destination.
❝ yeah, we just some sleeping pills during the flight and then caffeine after, ❞ she paused and made a face, ❝ now that i say it out loud, it sounds kind of bad. it works, though. ❞ she noticed they arrived and quickly sent a text to her pilot. one of the perks of flying private is they didn’t have to go through baggage check. she exited the car with her driver who helped them with their luggage and she thanked him once everything was taken out. the trip to the jet was swift and everything was ready within half an hour. ❝ do you want to take a boujee cousin-trip picture? ❞ she asked, before they went in.

His eyebrows shoots up in surprise because nine hours? He expected a trip to Canada or Hawaii, not somewhere far. Regardless, his excitement doesn’t lessen. “We’re going to be in such terrible shape when we go back to school,” he points out with laugh and follows his cousin inside the car. No matter how much traveling he does, and he’s done a lot of it during the ten weeks holidays, jet-lag never gets easier to overcome. He wiggles in his seat when the car begins its journey to the airport, anticipation and adrenaline rushing through his entire body. “The only thing I want to know is, are we heading west, east or south?”

He’s all but bouncing in place from excitement now, his previous sour mood having evaporated entirely and the smile on his face that much wider. “I want to be surprised.” A small part of him is dying to know where they’re heading but there’s something absolutely thrilling about not knowing plus, Alek trusts his cousin to choose a destination they’ll both enjoy. After saying goodbye to his dogs, he steers her outside to her car. “Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go.”

It’s only the first day of school, and The Windsors have already outdone themselves. Fuck, they must have lost every shred of chill over the summer. I don’t think even Dante was capable of doing something that messed up.”

she couldn't help but widen her smile once she saw how happy alek got. ❝ alright, i'll think of something quick, ❞ she took out her phone for possible locations as he left to pack. luckily, she always had an emergency suitcase in her jet so she didn't have to worry about clothes. she decided on korea, more specifically jeju island, since there a lot of things they could do there and even managed to find a good hotel to stay at. she gave his head of security a rough outline of what they would do just as he returned. ❝ so, do you want to know what we're doing or keep it a secret? ❞
