Hari strolled down the corridors of the Yakuza’s base. Rows of hallways that he was all too familiar with had a dotted amount of members here and there, greeting the direct assistant to their boss, Overhaul.
Today was a rather peaceful day, and Hari was currently voided of tasks and chores. It was a rare time, but he decided to take it upon himself to accompany the head accountant of the group, Mimic. He knew exactly where to find the little possessed doll due to him always keeping on a strict schedule.
Once at his room door, he gave a few taps on the metal structure. The knocking was gentle, yet firm, and almost anyone close to Hari knew it was him without even having to check.
Joi had been knee deep in expense reports and budgets. It seemed like these things never let up and were never competed. He heard the knocking at his door and knew instantly who had come to call on him.
“You can come in.” He called halfheartedly without looking up from his work.
With the allowing of his entry, the precept opened the door and made his way into the room.
“You know, I see you in that same position doing the same thing every time I come in here.”
Hari spoke lightly, stepping over to where the possessed doll was doing his work. He leaned slightly over him, eyeing down the mass of papers that were sprawled around the table.
“Do you ever take breaks?”
Joi tilted his head upwards, allowing the tip of his beak to press against Hari’s.
“Why would I do that? The work would just pile up and I’d never get done.” He huffed slightly, settling back to his work.
“To what honor do I get I visit from you today?”
Interning

The red headed teen found himself making quick strides to reach his destination. Fatgum’s agency. He had lost track of time while getting ready to start his afternoon of interning and was kicking himself in the ass for it.
“Shit! Shit! Shit!”
Weaving in and out of people, he raced down the sidewalk, nearly tripping over himself, pedestrians, and a stray cat that had bolted in front of him. As he apologized to everyone that he pushed past, he finally found himself at the doors of the agency.
At this point, he was panting heavily, hands on his knees and his head down. He was near thirty minutes late at this point and he couldn’t afford to miss another second, so he pushed through the doors, still out of breath.
“Huff…huff…huff…”
It was all he could get out as he made his entrance into the building.
Fatgum had been preparing to head out on his usual patrol. He was trying to wait for the red-headed teen to finally show up. He paced around, kept busy by whatever caught his attention as 10, 20, then 30 minutes passed.
He finally glanced at Tamaki and made a motion towards the door. He figured the poor kid got caught up with school again. He just got to the door as it swung open.
“Well, bout time you made it, Red. We were bout ta leave without ya.”
“Do cats have knees???? Genuine question. I asked one if it hurt its knee last night and then fell into a crisis.”
“Is that still bothering you?”
“Yes! Because I Have no Answer!!!!!!”
