1. Simple skeletal structure to break down where to work. 2. Render with pencil. Don’t be too vague, be clear with details for the final version. Give the personality and expression, if there’s something funny, or human try to have it here. 3. Work with pen, use the different tones to give it more weight 4. Finish with markers. Ballpoint pen and pencil are softer than markers, so you can tighten and clean it for the final render.
