As Stefan leaned his back against a bench, with a pen in his hands, a soft breath of air departed between both brims of his mouth. With his hazel hues fixated on the paper resting on his thigh, another exhale fell. The deadline for his book was coming up and Stefan still didn’t have an ending. How could he really write one, when his mind was entrapped in his guilt. It was this very reason, he didn’t want to turn his humanity back on, it was too painful.
The island wasn’t like what you’d expect. You had to fight to survive. Although since he arrived, nothing as of yet had happened, Stefan knew it would come soon. It had to. Most were kind around the island, but despite that, he still tried to keep his distance from the majority of residents, perhaps that is why the vampire went into writing. He wouldn’t have to sit in an office and smell the scent of their blood, desiring it day after day. Stefan didn’t want anyone to get hurt because of him
His hazel hues kept their glanced down below him until hearing someone approach him. Though he didn’t want to be bothered, he always tried his best to be polite, manners were essential. Stefan closed his eyes for a brief moment before nodding his head “ What is it?” He asked without looking up.
Finn hadn’t been here too long, in fact you could say he relatively just arrived. But he had been assigned and designated as a fighter for the arena because he made the assumption he would just have to fight and be done with it. Little did he realize he would be stuck in a spiral of fighting for the rest of his life it seemed. His heart was in his throat at the knowledge for this place was not what he’d expected. Honestly, it wasn’t too far off from what he’d seen before but one moment he was hugging his two best friends and the next he was signed away in a trap. He missed Rey and he missed Poe. Hell, he even missed 3PO. That wasn’t to say, either, that he hadn’t searched for ways off the island, ships to take him to whatever mainland, or even back to Ajan Kloss to help the galaxy after it’s win on Exegol. But he was here, not where he was supposed to be. It didn’t catch on in his brain right away that someone was talking to him. Honestly he hadn’t realized that his feet brought him to wherever it was they brought him for he’d been so lost in his own mind. He licked his bottom lip before he shook his head. “No-nothing.” He coughed as he hadn’t used his voice in a few days now it seemed.
