" 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐠𝐨, " there’s a playfulness to wanda’s accented voice, but she’s as serious as can be. she felt like she had never known COMFORT until this very moment. and if she had, she could never compare it to this second and this place with obi-wan. dark brown hues look up at him, her hand fitting perfectly in his. like that’s where it was meant to be. she knew she wanted something more, more than what they were right now, but she had her own doubts and chunks of her memories missing. she knew he deserved someone who was more whole than she was. she would have kissed him then - but she held herself back. holding herself back was a horrible habit of hers, it came from having too much power and always feeling like she had to.

"ᴡʜ-ᴡʜᴀᴛ?" tessa inquired, voice groggy and confused. she weakly turned her head toward the direction of the voice. or what she believed to be the direction the voice came from. she the brunette could only make out vague, blurry figures. “what’s.. happening?” her words coming out as disorientated as she felt. her body felt adrift. unstable like a ship lost in tempestuous waters.

"ᴡʜʏ ɪs ᴛʜᴀᴛ ᴇxᴀᴄᴛʟʏ?" tessa inquired. her words brusque. she always hated being told not to do something. even more so when she specifically wasn’t allowed to do it. instantly made to feel like she was being excluded on purpose. which then made her want to disobey even more.

𝚑𝚎’𝚜  𝚗𝚘𝚝  𝚜𝚎𝚎𝚗  𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚢  𝚒𝚗  𝚌𝚘𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚖𝚎𝚜.   a  handful  of  locals  and  kids  running  around  with  various  festive  wear  and  face  paintings,  sure,  but  none  fully  committing  to  a  costume.   that’s  why  he  has  to  question  whether  or  not  he’s  had  too  much  to  drink  when  he  catches  sight  of  the  older  man.   “  what  are  you  supposed  to  be  ?  ”   harry  asks,  dark  eyes  narrowed.   “   are  you  part  of  the  entertainment  ?   ”

she  was  supposed  to  meet  with  the  other  girls  at  the  club  for  rehearsals.  but  babydoll  shows  up  a  little  too  pre -  maturely,  instead  having  to entertain  herself  outside  while  she  waits  for  the  owner  to  arrive  and  open  up.  people  pass  by  on  occasion,  only  stopping  to  glance  at  the  posters  lining  the  windows.    “  showtimes  have  been  moved  up  to  7pm  if  that’s  what  you’re  looking  to  find  out.  ”   she  announces  to  the  next  person  who  she  assumes  is  showing  interest  in  the  club’s  events.   “  the  bar  opens  at  the  usual  time.  ”
