To be honest, I don’t think a wbw movie should be live action. It would make all the somber scenes look ridiculous. There’s a reason The Walled City is getting an adaption and not the concentration camp-shape shifter-book, it’s a bit difficult of a pitch ya know

I think a flowing 2D animation style like Wolf Walkers, a 50’s style animation, stop motion claymation or a mixed medium with maps and newspapers for sets would be better

I would like it to be multi language though. Assuming it’s made for English language speakers, particularly US audiences that would be difficult since “subtitles bad” and there isn’t any English spoken in the books iirc

Maybe they’d make the Wolfe’s mother British so the siblings (and Yael) speak English to each other. I’m not one of the fans that decries all and any changes to a film adaption if they make it better as a movie or in this case, allow it to happen at all.
