This couch, old as it was, was still a billion times more comfortable than the bed he grew up sleeping in, and the one at St Agnes… but his Ivy League college dorm mattress had given him something to look forward to after long days at school – his favorite place to sleep was in Ronan’s bed, though and that would never change. Adam bites back a yawn and lets himself be tugged against Ronan’s body. One of his hands trails up to the top of his head to rub at the shaved hair, which was an oddly comforting feeling for him… he’d never shave his own head, but he thought Ronan Lynch could probably pull off any look with that obscenely handsome face of his. “Or don’t wear pants. Give the delivery boy a show.” He challenges with a grin and a raise of his eyebrows.
“Dream on, Parrish.” Ronan’s grin grew wider than it had any right to be. It was a true smile that was reserved only for moments like this, when he was alone with Adam. Ronan’s relationship with Adam had changed many things. How he smiled, how he looked up at the sound of a text message, even how he dreamed.
He closed his eyes as Adam ran his fingers over his freshly shaved head and sucked in a breath, holding it for a moment. He wanted to commit this feeling to memory, it would have to last him another month before Adam would return for winter break. He finally exhaled and, eyes still closed, asked, “what do you want to order?” His voice calmer, less playful, than it had been a moment before.
