I SUCK AT STARTING POSTS But i just read shayatin yesterday night and HOLY MOTHERFUCKERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I SWEAR TO GOD, IT IS ONE OF THE FINEST DHURANDHAR FANFICS EVER EVER WRITTEN, YOU ARE ONE OF THE OGS, A PHENOMENAL WRITER AND I LOST MY BLOODY MIND YESTERDAY LIKE I WAS SCREAMINGGGGGG. IT IS ALSO CLOSE TO ME, THE PLOT AND EVERYTHING KYUKI I'M THE BIGGEST DEMONOLOGY FAN EVER... LIKE i research a lot about mythology and demonology the most and i have read books like lesser key of solomon and since christianity and islam, judaism these are Abrahamic religions, they share the similiar lore on demons, like lucifer and azazel are common in those religions, albeit with different names or interpretations. Your take on arabic scriptures and the lore... MY JAW IS IN HELL ISTG I WAS POSSESSED Because You reminded me WHAT fandom really is (amidst the chaos happening in the fandom) fanfiction is a creative intepreation of the fiction and you have written one of the most CREATIVE AND AMAZING AND MINDBLOWING FICS OF DHURANDHAR and this is genuinely what i live for tbh. I WAS YAPPING NONESTOP YESTERDAY WITH MY FRIENDS ABOUT YOUR FIC (they cannot stop too, we all are obsessed!!) AND ALSO... THIS REMINDS ME OF ONE THING I have discovered a few days ago. I don't even know whether to call this coincidence or... hmm something else. A conspiracy theory if you allow. ISI IS DEMONIC. and here's why.

I was watching this video to know the timeline of the events for my fic, so i noticed the ISI Logo and as you all can see that... it looks weird. Now this is an old logo, they have changed it to an eagle (to suck their american daddies dihs) but the original logo had a markhor which is a goat native to pakistan that is famous for hunting snakes and all. Now... this THE WAY they drew the dead ass goat is demonic itself. But it is the goat and how it is popularly associated with demonology and occult is WHAT intrigues me. Now ofc markhor is a political symbol, it symbolizes strength and blah blah but let's keep that aside for this episode of CONSPIRACY THEORIES WITH DARE!! A goat is associated in demonic scriptures, abrahmic lore and all in many ways. I will tell you TWO of those. One is Baphomet, a humanoid figure who's a horned goat and is known as sabbatic goat (back then, paganism was considered demonic by christianity) and how the sigil (symbol) of baphomet is the official symbol of the church of satan which shows a goat's head in an inverted pentagram. Now you might be thinking... why a goat and not a sheep? Because sheep are obedient, they are sort of rule followers but goats are headstrong and rebellious. Hence they are mostly associated with the side that christianity terms it evil (no religion fights in comments, ill kick your asses, this is lore dropping and demonology nerd misteria GOING FULL NERD MODE, THANKS DESIGURLIE DIDI LOVE YOU FOR FEEDING THE DEMON INSIDE ME) NOW COMES THE JUICY PART. Azazel. Azazel in old hebrew traditions is associated with a goat because on the day of atonement, people would send a goat containing their sins and sacrifice it to him or send it to deserts to azazel so he could take their sins away. The concept of scapegoat comes from here!! Azazel is one of the watcher, a fallen angel (He's not lucifer or satan, satan and lucifer are different too) but azazel is a powerful demon as well. He's one of the watchers, a fallen angel who corrupted humanity by teaching them illegal things like black magic, make up, weaponry (kudos to azazel for being a fearless teacher, he's the reason i could hide my zits) so he's locked up in a desert. He's also cast out of heaven because he refused to bow down to adam (BRAVO AZAZEL, I DONT BLAME YOU, HUMANS ARE SHIT INDEED). So ISI had taken a demonic ass goat as their logo and funds terrorism and does shit in general so NO WONDER, NO SURPRISE TBH. so... basically, ISI is demonic. hence proved. also the fact that... we discussed this just a few days before desigurlie didi uploaded shayatin seems... too much to be a coincidence, right?? (This is a conspiracy theory, take this as seriously as you would take your papa ke taane) ONCE AGAIN, desigurlie didi... absolute kudos to you i am so so happy as a fellow writer and reader and genuine nerd of demonology. I know you have taken few creative liberties and portrayed azazel as angel of death (it's azrael btw, he's diff too) BUT the amount of research you put into it... the drawings, the sigils, the symbolism, the lore, THE SMUT, DEMON IQBAL PROPAGANDA I LOVE IT I LOVE ITT SO MUCH AHHH. SORRY IF I SOUND ANNOYING BUT TRULY THANK YOU FOR WRITING IT!! literally my word vomit btw, did not even edit grammar or shit. thanks for listening to misteria yap :D
