everyone's already posted about the new papersys stuff and how it's good (rightfully so) but i'm personally hung up on the new knife and marshmallow interactions because it's just another case of how the remaster is trying to emphasize the fact that knife really did want to have friends at one point and genuinely didn't realize that people do not want to hang out with a guy who kills for fun. even in the modern day he still doesn't fully grasp the fact the gravity of what he was doing, but he's figured out enough to know that he is, from his perspective, fundamentally broken in a way that cannot be fixed no matter how hard he tries, and is better off separated from everyone else like a hostile cat that needs to be separated from everyone else for their safety. inanimate insanity is a try not to feel challenge and i'm losing.
