waves its me again.. i am a brian enthusiast but i love all of the people in the prom scene!! greg, josh, brian, and sera (rach ofc) are all precious to me and i need more analysis of their personalities bc i need more headcanons and content of them. sorry i didnt know who else to tell this to.
I legitimately love you so much for giving me an excuse to talk about them . I feel blessed .
Ok click more for a wall of text, nobody hate, it is this serious to me
(My kind of analysis on the prom scene)
Greg !
Greg comes across as the quietest and most reserved member of the group. Sera often has to prompt him to speak to the camera, and he rarely initiates conversations. When he does speak, it’s usually reactive; adding brief comments to what others say, with little back-and-forth. He's notably respectful; when Sera tosses a tape at Brian, Greg is the one who picks it up and puts it back in the case.
He appears closest to Brian: they go stag to prom together, share the most physical contact, and much of Greg’s dialogue revolves around or reacts to Brian.
With Rachel: Greg has almost no direct interaction with Rachel, throughout the scene. Due to the overlapping voices, it’s unclear, but after Brian asks to escort her, Greg might be saying something along the lines of “Can I ask for Rachel?” to which Brian replies, “You’re out of this, get the hell off!” Even if that’s accurate, Greg’s tone is clearly playful and teasing Brian rather than a genuine request.
With Cal: Greg is visibly uncomfortable when Cal enters the limo. He shifts closer to Brian to make space, even as Brian keeps his legs spread. Greg doesn’t directly ask Brian to move but persists awkwardly in silence until he does.
Greg extends his hand to shake Cal’s, but Cal doesn’t notice and fails to reciprocate. Instead of simply saying “hi,” Greg awkwardly reaches out a second time-- Cal still hasn’t even turned his head, before the camera cuts away. In the next scene, Cal has moved and still Greg remains close to Brian. The way he acts towards Cal stems from social awkwardness rather than disdain.
Later, when Cal leaves momentarily, Greg defends his quietness (likely relating to his own personality.) He's the only person in the limousine to not have a direct line of dialogue or interaction with Cal where he responds back. Upon Cal’s return, Greg enthusiastically hypes him up (“Cal’s back!” “You rock the ass!”), though he gets no reply. He shakes Cal’s hand before leaving.
On zd, Cal targets Greg with intense hatred, emptying his chamber into him (after Andre chose to spare him). Greg's reaction prior was to call them “sir," comply with them and quietly beg them not to shoot. Andre calls him “too pathetic to die” and recognises him, possibly as one of Rachel’s friends, from details Cal mentioned about prom, or from some other prior context. Moments later, Cal returns specifically to check on (or to just look at) Greg’s body behind the couch. His blood is also what Cal stops to look at his reflection in later.
Josh !
Josh acts as the voice of the group, he seems to be who keeps things moving and calls the shots. He comes off as the most “normal” and laid-back. Notably, he’s the only one who avoids gay jokes or even using the word.
I always assumed him and Sera to be dating: they’re the only ones not going stag, it wouldn't make sense for them to be meeting their dates separately, she’s physically close to him (laying on his lap, his arm around her.)
With Rachel: Josh ensures space for her when she arrives and handles her snap at him (when he asked why Cal was leaving) with understanding, it seems rooted in her stress rather than irritation toward him. Their interactions are limited otherwise.
With Cal: Josh prepares the group to be quiet out of respect when Cal arrives and greets him politely, noting they haven’t formally met (implying prior awareness). He complies quickly when Cal bluntly tells him to get back in the car. His mood shifts when Cal mentions going to Andre’s; he helps with directions but seems confused and directly asks why. He ends the night with a lukewarm “nice meeting ya’… formally,” a clear drop from his initial eagerness to shake hands. He appears to agree with Sera’s dislike of Cal, only just agreeing with her before the scene ends (“Yeah, I—”) but seems more confused than hateful, primarily puzzled by Cal abandoning Rachel and the Andre situation.
Sera !
Sera reads as popular and socially savvy: not openly bitchy, but quick to talk behind backs about non-friends. She’s protective of her circle and shifts energy protectively once she learns why Rachel is upset. She has a playfully mean, physical dynamic with Brian (tossing things, play-fighting) and gets along well with everyone, engaging them directly. She seems uncomfortable around the driver.
(Wrote about my take on her relationship with Josh above.)
With Rachel: They share a close bond, Sera uses a nickname for her that no one else does and persistently checks if she’s okay while probing about Andre. She tries to tolerate Cal for Rachel’s sake but drops the facade the moment Cal abandons her friend, bluntly stating she doesn’t like him.
With Cal: Sera dislikes him from the start. She questions his quietness and talks over him. She puts in visible effort to be nice for Rachel’s benefit, but Cal offers nothing likable and actively frustrates her (silence all night, ruining prom for Rachel, ditching her for Andre). Her dislike is valid. Shes also the only one to never sit on the same side of the limousine as Cal.
Brian !
Brian is loud, hyper, and ok lowkey annoying. He’s extremely touchy-feely (play-fighting Sera, stealing Josh’s glasses, hugging/grabbing Rachel and especially with Greg). The group has a jokingly antagonistic rapport with him, which seems to be his brand of humor. He uses “gay” as an insult frequently, but it aligns with the group’s overall edgy banter (even Rachel participates in her other scene). He’s destructive in the limo, disrespectful to the driver, and the most excited for prom. I also think he was on something (beyond alcohol.) Before they exit the car he says, mostly to himself, "guys you are gonna love this ket ... you are gonna love this ket" (It's difficult to hear and he could be saying something else but . Im willing to take the chance idk what else he could be saying.) He's having the most fun he can, without thinking of consequences or the people around him-- which is exactly why he's so confused when the mood ultimately shifts.
With Rachel: After prom, Rachel is wearing Brian’s blazer. (More about this here) He’s physically affectionate with her, lying on her while they talk. They reveal they've known each other for a long time, and he directly asks how she feels about him-- suggesting he may genuinely like her, or he’s just really high/drunk. When Cal says he really has to leave, Brian asks if he can escort Rachel instead to which Cal happily agrees. He hugs her, but she shrugs him off, evidently not in the mood.
Later, when the mood changes, Brian makes a lighthearted joke about Cal and Andre being gay (the same kind Rachel herself had made earlier) trying to joke around with her. When she reacts solemnly instead of laughing, he immediately drops the humor, gets concerned, asks her what's wrong and tries to hold her hand to comfort her. Brian is the first to notice something being wrong and repeatedly checks on her she’s okay. Overall, he seems to actually care about Rachel.
With Cal: Brian treats Cal the same as everyone else in the limo and naturally tries to include him, at one point pointing directly at him and saying “and you have to agree with me on this” during a tangent about girls. This shows the gay joke he directs at Cal (and Andre) is just his usual group humor, not targeted malice; he does the same thing with all his friends and even himself. He explicitly states he doesn’t know Andre and even wants to meet him, asking if Andre will “come out to meet the party.” Brian repeatedly tries to convince Cal to stay for the after-party, but Cal remains adamant on leaving, so Brian asks if he can “escort Rachel to the remainder of the festivities,” which Cal agrees to. When Cal first leaves, Brian doesn’t join in on the discussion and looks genuinely lost. When Cal returns, Brian greets him eagerly. Later, as Cal makes excuses about why Andre can’t meet them and Josh presses him, Brian steps in and tells the group to just let him go, saving Cal from further awkwardness. On the way out, Brian is the first to shake Cal’s hand, tells him he had a good time, and says “you rock ass.” When Sera says she doesn’t like Cal, Brian immediately replies, “You bitch!” He just wants to have the most fun he can, without thinking twice about it.
. . . . . .
Overall thoughts !
I see Rachel as likely inviting Cal in the hopes he’d mesh with the group and distance himself from Andre. She forces cheer (“Having fun! Come on, Cal! Yay!”) despite clearly not enjoying herself.
Many of Cal’s social issues are self-inflicted, he brings awkwardness and detachment that the group (especially Sera) struggle to look past. Cal remains an outsider by choice and behavior.

did you guys know that on some occasions the human skull is able to quite literally explode like a pinata by the sheer intracranial pressure it endures when shot. depending on range, caliber, type of ammo and gun
well i wanted to play with that idea. for my first zd fanart. yes. Enjoy!!!
Also yes i know that's not an exact recreation of how it looks like irl i am well aware ok Just use ur imagination and bend reality pls i cannot draw All That again.
more drawings for my au 🎉 sorry my artstyle is so inconsistent
i got the idea from a friend that cal would keep newspaper clippings and andres mugshot on his wall (shoutout laci). he probably does intense research on andre and writes to him to figure out more, also just because hes infatuated with andre and wants to be his friend. i dont think andre would have any buddies in prison so he'd be quick to write back to cal. also cal finding him cool would definitely feed into his ego. i dont exactly know what the letters would be but i imagine theyd talk about their edgy views and find theyre pretty similar! someone also made art of this au where cal visits andre in prison and i really liked that idea

My take on AndreK's personality types in various typology systems (EG, PY, Socio, etc..) (With links!)
Enneagram subtype: sx6
"In the psychology of Claudio Naranjo's enneatypes, the sexual subtype of the Six trait is also called "counterphobic." This adjective underlines a reactive style that, instead of being in contact with the dominant passion, fear defends itself against it by reacting to fear through aggressive and belligerent behavior. The motivation is fear and what he uses to defend himself from the world is to provoke fear; hence its intimidating and authoritarian appearance.
The term "cowardice" (used by Oscar Ichazo) defines very well the passion of the Enneatype Six. What distinguishes the counterphobic subtype is precisely the feeling of shame that they feel in the face of cowardice.
The sexual E6 lives a typical ambivalence regarding contact and withdrawal, the relationship with himself and with the world. He has a desire for fusion but is also afraid of it."
Socionic type: LSI
Ti-Se
Ne-Fi
Ni-Fe
Te-Si
"He is uncompromising in his convictions. The collapse of ideals he has long held close to his heart turns into a personal tragedy. He is distrustful of strangers about whom he has no information. If he notices something negative about someone, he loses trust in them for a long time."
Instinctual stacking: sx/sp
"With this stacking, the counterphobic energy is directed more toward individuals than towards ideas and concepts. It’s more about controlling the people closest to them. Paranoia arises when the Six feels abandoned by intimates. In the sexual/self-pres Six, doubt and anxiety is relieved by the knowledge that one’s intimates really are trustworthy. These Sixes are always testing their mates for loyalty. The sexual Six is counterphobic in terms of needing to prove their desirability and strength. Male Sixes are likely to show strength as a form of counterphobia."
Psychosophy type: LFVE
"Plato is a person who naturally has their own definite opinion on everything. They do not want to prove it to anyone or revise it because they are not only confident in their intelligence but also indifferent to others’ opinions. They are interested in slowly exploring new information, putting together a comprehensive picture of the world for themselves. Typically, this type believes that they are much smarter than the people around them and can use their reasoning for self-affirmation. LFVE explains their thoughts simply and clearly, does not like to engage in discussions, and does not care whether others agree with them or not."
"In the case of a 1L holder, a typical response to any dispute would be that they have no opinion on the topic at hand because they are not competent in the relevant area. However, if a First Logic holder believes they have enough understanding of the topic, they will present their opinion not as a subjective view, but as an indisputable fact that does not require special evidence."
"2F is a process attitude. A 2F notices small details of its own and others' physical state, seeks to interact with this and modify it. This makes 2F very mobile, interested in issues of appearance, health, personal care, exercise, and the outdoors. 2F is a passive attitude. It finds the physical needs of others worth noting, helps them to relax and get in touch with their body. 2F is a strong attitude, it is confident in its evaluations and desires influence. 2F knows how to evaluate their own and others' appearance, how to eat right and have a healathy lifestyle, how to interaact with the material world. They shaare these ideas with others, trying to change their lives for the better."
"The Third Volition is a complex triad because its issues cover all areas of life. 3V is the person who “wants something unclear”. They have a lot of ambitions and a lot of doubts about themselves. These people seem secretive from the outside. At the same time, they react sharply to disrespect towards themselves, ignoring, and get offended where others would not find a reason. Understanding the subtleties of social hierarchy is a constant pursuit for 3V. They strive to realize and raise their status in society, while evaluating other people from the point of view of their place on the social ladder. 3V often have problems with a sense of humor. It’s hard for them to laugh at themselves; they like cruel jokes that humiliate people – again, this is related to the hierarchical consciousness of this function."
4E (-3, weak) (self-negative others-positive result-oriented emotion):
"Weak-4E is the stereotypical 4E, distinguished by calm and the absence of violent emotional manifestations. Even if everyone else is having fun, weak-4E will only smile slightly. Usually their face expresses nothing at all."
Tritype: 614 (i would've gone with 684 but imo Andre internalizes most of his anger rather than externalizing it)
"Very dutiful and faithful but also prone to angry reactions and, rarely, depression bouts in isolation. This is a more anxious tritype that finds it harder to hide his anger and his concern with the loyalty and reliability of those around. Can experience strong like/dislike feelings about people and situations and is more suspicious and prejudiced towards newcomers and different groups. They are typically traditionalists, but will at times go against tradition in a rather rebellious way, especially when insecure."
Temperament: Chol-phleg
"The Choleric-Phlegmatic is naturally a result-oriented, determined, unemotional, and focused individual. They have a strong, stubborn will, and they are independent and very individualistic. They have a firm, stoic expression (flat affect) on their face, and will rarely smile. They are not open, friendly, animated or talkative. They slowly build a few close relationships and will help only those they consider to be their friend."
Big 5: RlOeN
"Low Extroversion: RLOEN individuals lean towards introversion, finding energy in solitude or smaller social settings. They may be more reserved and prefer deeper connections over superficial interactions.
High Neuroticism: RLOEN individuals have a higher level of neuroticism, which means they may experience more intense emotions, worry, and anxiety. They may be more sensitive to stressors.
High Conscientiousness: RLOEN individuals value order, structure, and organization. They have a methodical and detail-oriented approach to tasks, striving for precision and efficiency.
Low Agreeableness: They prioritize their own needs and desires, exhibiting an egocentric nature. They may be assertive, confident, and focused on personal success.
Low Openness: RLOEN individuals have a lower level of curiosity and may not be as inclined to seek out new ideas, concepts, or experiences. They may prefer familiarity and routine over novelty and change."
