You're gonna' see a man in the sky

You preach how wrong it is to judge you for your skin color. 

You preach how its wrong to stereotype you.

You preach how its wrong to judge the features you may or may not have. 

You preach how its wrong to make jokes at your expense simply because of your skin color.

You preach how its wrong to hate someone for their skin color.

Well then, here comes my question:

Why do you think it’s okay to do all that to me simply for being a white woman? 

I don’t like it either.

We know nothing about each other, why hate me? 

I don’t hate you.

I don’t deserve any of it either for being the race and gender that I was born as. 

Just like you, I didn’t choose to be born as the race that I am, its just who I am, and its not okay to treat me poorly just as its not okay to treat you poorly.

I know there will be those who come here to tell me about my “white tears” and that my feelings don’t matter. They will tell me that I deserve the hate even though I’m a nice girl who tries to always do the right thing.They will try to justify why it’s okay to treat me exactly how they do not want to be treated. That’s fine. At least this will hopefully reach those who do some thinking on this topic to reflect on equality.
