I Miss You, Come Home

Once I got into the open ocean, I rode it out far away from everyone else. I rode, and I began to panic as my speed rose and I began crashing into harder waves. My anxiety started rising up and I began getting my nervous tics.

My only fear was going under. And not coming back up. I didn’t want to come back up if I went down. I wanted to just give into my fear and let everything wash over me.

I had to gain control over myself. So I killed the motor. I took off my life vest. And jumped into the water. I went down. And as soon as I gave into my fear, I began to think of you. I can’t leave you in this world alone. Because if I’m not here, i don’t know who’s going to push you on. Encourage you. Be there when you need somebody most. 100 different thoughts ran through my mine in split seconds. Everything about you. Everything about us.
