I spent the last two days working on this, and considering how many other world-building things I am already doing (5 to be specific), I'm starting to get concerned.
tldr: I made a pantheon of 75 different gods, feel free to suggest ideas.
There is a world where stars are Gods. Not every star is a god, but those that are can directly affect the world around them. This world is populated by humans and other Earth-like animals/fauna. However, the stars can mutate/corrupt this life or create their own. Some people worship certain stars, others worship none, some see them as gods, others as devils.
The stars are less of living or sentient beings and more pure conceptual energy. Their actions are driven by their fundamental nature and domains, rather than by personality or emotion.
The Blessed: These are normal beings (though sometimes slightly mutated in mind or appearance) imbued with unnatural power given to them by a star. It is very rare for a blessed to receive the blessing of multiple stars, much less survive it without just becoming a monster or dying.
A cow blessed by The Mother that makes other living beings around them give birth to a monster cow-hybrid.
A woman blessed by The Beast who can turn into a 9ft tall wolf monster.
A tree blessed by The Fool that forces others nearby to join it on its ceaseless travel, even in death.
A king blessed by The Sculptor that can turn any piece of clay he touches into a gemstone.
A man endlessly rotting who spreads that rot to anything he touches (Blessed by The Dead).
Avatars: These are beings born of or directly created by a star. Avatars can have the blessings/powers of multiple stars and very rarely make any biological or scientific sense.
A Cerberus born of The Beast.
A living mass of gold born of The Blade.
A bird that can kill anyone who hears its call, born of both The Grey Star and The Piper.
A mass of living bones (Avatar of The Crawling Star).
A living vapor of darkness that slowly follows a single target at a time before devouring them (Avatar of The Crawling Star).
The Black Star (The Dark)
Description: Eldest and most powerful of all stars.
Domains: Darkness, Extinction, Annihilation, Nothingness.
Relationships: Rules nothing; worship of it is blasphemy against all other stars. All other stars spend most of their power restraining it. Can only affect the mortal world if asked by a mortal.
Example Blessed: A Child who’s very presence weakens the powers and influence of other Stars
Example Avatar: a living singularity that erases the very memory of the existence of anything and everything it destroys
The White Star (The Nameless)
Description: Second eldest and second most powerful of the stars. Acts as their ruler.
Domains: Light, Balance, Order, Choice.
Relationships: Opposed by The Destroyer; manages the collective effort to restrain The Black Star. Can only affect the mortal world if asked by a mortal.
Example Blessed: a man who can temporarily turn into a bout of light.
Example Avatar: An androgynous figure that stands still with both hands outstretched, depending on which one you take you either die or start glowing, if you try to ignore and walk past it your every choice ends in failure and pain until you go back and make your decision.

The Fool (The Wandering Star)
Description: Signals the beginning of the year.
Domains: Beginnings, Travel, Adventure.
Relationships: Followed by The Green Star. The Piper is subservient to it.
Example Blessed: A traveler who never gets tired, lost, or needs to eat, so long as they never sleep in the same place twice. They instinctively know the safest path to take, and their presence inspires wanderlust in others.
Example Avatar: a pair of shoes that prevent their wearer from ever walking down the same path and can never be taken off.
The Mother (The Green Star)
Description: Signifies the end of winter and the beginning of spring.
Domains: Healing, Reproduction, Nature.
Relationships: Opposes The Chaste Stars (The Friar); followed by The Solemn Star. The Hound and The Drunkard is subservient to it. Separated from The Tangled Stars by The Worm.
Example Blessed: a priest who can manipulate the fertility of others
Example Avatar: a Tree thats fruit turns all who eat them into trees themselves, but in turn can heal any wound
The Lamb (The Solemn Stars)
Description: A cluster of four dull blue and white stars.
Domains: Self-Sacrifice, Rebirth, Hope.
Relationships: Follows the Green star, is followed by the Yawning Stars.
The Drunkard (The Yawning Stars)
Description: a pair of pinkish yellow stars that flicker in and out.
