Recently, there is somebody who has offered to be a person in my life. I’m honored, and grateful, but I don’t find myself wanting to lean on him. I am definitely tempted by the idea of having someone who wants to support me and give me all their attention. But not enough to let this small temptation rush me into committing to someone with whom it doesn’t come naturally. I caught myself trying to force this openness in a low-point - and then realized that I’ll survive on my own (and with God). Reminding myself that when there is someone who I trust, and want to trust, that’ll be worth it. 

You must learn to trust God’s timing. You can be sure that right now, God is arranging all the pieces to come together to work out His plan for your life. He has been working in your favor long before you encountered the problem. Don’t grow impatient and try to force doors open. Don’t try to make things happen in your own strength. The answer will come, and it will be right on time.
