Hope everyone’s having a good day, a good night, and are happy in general.

This is just a very quick post to explain my absence. While I could simply say summer classes play a factor, it’s not just classes. This has taken a while for me to understand, to come to terms with, and while I say “a while” I literally mean 21 years. It has taken me 21 years to understand that I am not okay. Physically-- yes, however emotionally and mentally, not so much.

After speaking to a few friends, some here (and you lovelies know who you are), i’m finally, finally seeking counsel. Admitting this is not easy. Coming to terms with this is not easy. I was originally going to come back Monday afternoon and post about my first session, but i’m nervous and my thoughts are already telling me to cancel. 

On top of all this, I have assignments due every 2 days until the beginning of July. So i’ve been away because of the school work. And while I should have listed this as my main priority -- that i’m a mom, a single mom, with a family that is always useless, I have parenting responsibilities i’m trying to keep up with as well (and i’m still figuring them out.) 

So just bear with me. I know I owe replies, just know that I am not ignoring anyone. I’m just dealing with myself right now. I just ask that you keep me in your positive thoughts (and prayers if you’re religious.)
