theory
I'm freaking out because I love this concept too much and I don't want to jinx it ššš
It's not a The Pitt-style season, it's Groundhog Day season.
In the movie, there was a blizzard, in The Bear we have a storm.
The very first teaser included a clock going backwards.
The trailer has multiple scenes that include the rewind effect, and it made me go, 'Wait a second'.
Minute 0:07
Minute 0:22
Minute 1:07
But it's the multiple teasers that keep popping up after the trailer that are making me wonder whether it's really happening. I know Storer has used scenes that never made it into the actual show before (it happened in S4). But something is definitely up with these teasers, they include the 'same' scenes with little variations:
Tina at the Beef window
Richie talking to Cicero
Tina and Syd in the walk-in scenes
Richie speaking to Jess before going back to FOH
The big motivational speeches
Also, Richie's accident at the end of 'Gary' would fit perfectly in a loop.
And then there's Carmy:
When Richie says, 'We have each other', Syd looks at Richie and smiles, Carmy looks at Syd. He's not pissed, but he does look serious.
He tells Syd, 'Whatever you need, I'm here'.
Syd says, 'The restaurant is flooding, but we're here, together'. He says, 'I like that. I like that positivity.'
'I look at you all, and I love you so much'.
He is finally trying to show up for the bear, for Syd, which is a big thing Phil does for Rita and the people in town in the movie.
I hate the idea of everything happening in one day, but if it's a loop.. COUNT ME IN. So many things can happen. What do you think?
