Not for the first time, Remus has been accosted by Dorcas the moment he tries to start his work. Halfway through typing in his computer password, he's stopped by them literally covering his keyboard. That's fine; he didn't want to actually work today.
"Good to see you too, Dorcas," he intones, gently takes their hand to move it away from his keyboard. They actually let him. "I didn't know you were in today."
"Yeah, yeah, first full day, whatever," they reply, waves him off, rolls their eyes.
"That's exciting." He manages to finish typing in his password, but that doesn't satisfy them, apparently, because with a clunk, they prop themself up on his desk, heavy booted toe pushing against his chair.
"Don't patronize me," they say, and wow, they look rather serious.
"I'm not trying to patronize you," he says with a sigh, resists their push, but they're relentless. Fine. "What?"
"D&D?" they say, incredulous, like he's the idiot for not following along. He's been following along; he just wishes they would be quieter - the last thing he wants is for someone outside his friend group to invite themselves. He has a hard time saying no.
