i have nothing of value to say other than the fact that enna cannot cook for shit but probably makes bombass chicken nuggets in the microwave

most of enna’s romantic endeavors end in fire and brimstone because she really just cannot accept that she is Loved and Cared for. it’s just wrong to her, despite how bad she wants it to be right.

i think i mentioned this once before but she’s really convinced that nobody actually wants her for her. they want what she can do for them, in more ways than one. which is almost entirely true, usually, but only because she made it that way by making herself emotionally unavailable and sabotaging any potential bonds before they can grow. which makes the whole thing a self-fulfilling prophecy, really— because at the end of the day, she’s convinced she’s unlovable because she makes herself unlovable.
