"She says that there are kinds of magic that Circles don't teach- like blood magic, and shapeshifting. Are there things like that taught in Tevinter that we wouldn't know about here in the south?" Kieran settled down on the ground, back to a bookshelf and looked up at Dorian with curious and expectant eyes. “Nevarra’s necromancers are their prized jewels I’ve come to understand, they value them so much that they don’t even allow their Templars to occupy the Grand Necropolis. I studied there for a time when I was young, truthfully it was one of the few places my hobby for polishing the bones of dead animals or storing their corpses in jars wasn’t indicative that I might grow up to become a notorious murderer that stalked women in the night and brutally mutilated them.

Maybe that was a bit too vivid a description for a child. He supposed he didn't know to have an appropriate conversation about violence and death with a child, he hadn't interacted with a child since he was a child himself and he was a renowned arrogant freak with no friends.
