How long have you lived here? Did you move here like I did or did you grow up in New York?

I moved here, goodness... three years ago now! Somehow it seems like so much shorter and so much longer at the same time.

You can seriously do something like that?

Sure, why not? I am a design major, after all. I mean I've never designed 3D glasses before, but it could be fun!

I just mean I’ve met one or two that definitely have that harsher New York personality I’d heard of before. No one bad, though. 

Ah, gotcha! Yeah, I've definitely come across a few of those types in my time here.

Thanks! You’re really nice. I was a little worried about the type of people I’d meet in New York, but everyone seems super sweet so far. Well, mostly.

I just always try to do my best. No point to living up to anything less.

Nope! I mean, I can’t really afford to. It’s my senior year so I’m not going to be at this school for long. I want to make the most of it. Plus, objects in motion tend to stay in motion. I definitely like being in motion.

Hmm, I don't know that I'd say that! I mean Toronto's my home, but New York is my second home- not to mention being the one I chose, y'know?

I think being in my third year and still having never tried cafeteria food is a sin in itself. So a lunch date sounds perfect. Monday?

Lima, Ohio actually.

Yeah? Never heard of it. Well I've heard of Ohio anyway, but not Lima. Is it a smaller city, or is that just my utter lack of knowledge of American cities shining through?

Yup! I’m still getting acquainted with the campus and the people. Currently I’m focusing on finding some clubs. You know, get involved a bit.

Wow, on the prowl for clubs already? Even though you just moved here? You don't slow down for anything, do you?

It’ll be different now, though. It’s been a year. Exactly a year. It’s time to start moving forward.

Yeah. I didn’t want to be on campus much after Sky…so I usually skipped lunch and went straight home and just ate there. I guess I just never got around to it before that.
