She winked, possibly being suggestive with her comment but Maria turned around, not giving Randy much time to properly analyze her behaviour.

All this years wondering if she'd ever find true love again were all a waste when the man of her dreams was Phil all along. Even when they separated, Maria knew he was the one no matter what. "You mean everything to me and I couldn't be happier. This is the best day of my life. Until the baby is born, though." Maria chuckled, not used to the word baby coming out of her mouth this often. "Everything is so surreal and it all feels like a dream. We deserve this, Phil. We deserve this blessing..." Getting pregnant was never in their plans. They took risks but Maria always felt like they had things under control. But now she was carrying Phil's first born and despite not being planned, she was more than happy.
