I'm starting to really hate being seen as another kpop group who have an alt concept. This isn't a concept this is our freaking identity, I've been creating music ever since I was able to type on a computer. most members had a rough life. this isn't a kpop aesthetic concept this is US BEYOUND the kpop industry image. That's why our name is Color Outside The Lines. we aren't just a kpop group. we debuted there cause we were SOLD. we debuted there cause IN KOREA there's no other way to create music. y'all don't know shit as white privileged who go in korea once a year for vacation, y'all don't know shit about life in korea, y'all don't know SHITTTT about korea outside kdramas and want to make actual alternative pocs feel bad for being alt. I'm wasian and I can handle being criticized for my white side, and I can understand that people see it as stealing culture by other poc themselves, especially if they're black people. I only listen to them when they educate me on THEIR movement but I cannot let a fully white person fucking say to me that i can't be punk because I'm privileged. If I'm privileged what are you? how stupid that sounds. I hate that people have this idea that korea is a higher class country because it really ISN'T. Have y'all seen what north Korea has to deal with? South Korea just have a cute bow on it but that's really all. are y'all blind or blinded. Only the richs are rich. You do not know us. So we, as Cortis want to show a side of Korea that people have never seen before, the raw, messy part of it. But because of everyone's beliefs that korea is perfect we look like idiots who wants to be cool. STOP blaming the kids blame the society they were forced into. goddamn. I hope I never have to see white COERs ever again.
