How does it feel when you know they have been with someone after you?

Makes you want to question everything. The relationship, the moments, the ‘togetherness', the promises made and the promises broken, dreams of having them by your side for a long time or even forever, the time when you both confessed that you love each other, the time when you both sacrificed work and other important chores to be with them, the trust, the open 2am talks that brought us close.

I know I know. They are the 'ex' now. Meaning, they are not yours anymore. They are free to go about their life and be with anyone they wish to be with.

But did anything previous to that ever matter to you?

How was it so easy for you to sleep with someone when I have barely stopped dreaming of our ‘togetherness'. When I've barely registered that I won't see you anymore, I won't receive your love anymore, hell, I won't even get to hear about your day anymore.
