Mode: HILANG - People would always comment me on my fashion sense. Some comments included, "I like your cool understated fashion sense!" and "I love the story you're telling with your clothes" (a typical designer's comment, right?). "I see you're into details, quality, and something that's always in style," says the salesperson. A French lady commented, "You have that je ne sais quoi in you..." I've always believed that our clothes conveys powerful messages about who we are. It also provides insight into our working style, as well as the quality & vibe of the work that we can or will produce. Mode: Workshops -  No matter how busy I am dividing my 8760 hours a year as parent, daughter, partner (in both life & businesses), writer, producer, showrunner & more… I would still set aside a certain block of hours a year to create & conduct workshops such as arts & language, speech & drama, acting, team building etc. My objective for every workshop is to share a passion for knowledge, communication & self-growth. @adiyadoni & I just conducted “Lakarkan Bunyian” & “Kreatif Bahasa Bersama” by @elementspictures for @BulanBahasa - both workshops were conceptualised using the viral #tellmewithouttellingme approach. The participants communicated a lot of interestingly mind boggling thoughts & situations. We received a lot of great feedback. One of the participants “made” kuih tapak kuda coz my hair reminded her of it, one had drawn a charred looking cake saying it was her first time baking it but most said they didn’t realize that learning Malay language could be enjoyable & not intimidating at all! Scene: Experience -  There’s something to be said about a simple plot. Almost every “blockbuster” movie today is convoluted (most pretend to be) . It feels like a lot of movies just throw the kitchen sink of plot details at an audience hoping something sticks. @airforcethemovie_official is the opposite.   Action. Humour. Sadness. Love (which is usually missing in most Malay movies!). Great cast & you can pick yr camp - @nvst1 you are a true Rock @adpadiputra remains a Lejen.  Every element was nicely thought out, down to the camera panning, the scene transitions and the lengths of the scenes. Some scenes are exhilarating while others will bring a tear or two. It’s a feel-good, crowd-pleaser through and through. This is what Malay movies have been missing—a movie that has simple but nicely executed storytelling that isn’t going to make anyone mad or lead to unbearable discourse online.
