About a year ago I officially released my thesis film MANGO, which is an animated short about a gibbon stranded in space. These are some of my favorite stills from the film and I wrote a blog post on it (which you can read for free on my Patreon), and you should watch it because I'm very proud of how weird and atmospheric it is.

Long story short, I decided to put it off so it could cover the first 100 drawings instead of the first 50... I can't promise a release date yet but rest assured I'm chipping away at it whenever I get the chance

Marginally, but mostly it's taught me how little i know about what things actually look like 💀💀i think i know how to draw a dog or a jacket or shoes until i actually have to do it...
Just went through your entire people in the city tag and a) its so cool! And b) your art style has evolved so much and its absolutely gorgeous
thank you :] you made me go back and look through them and it's a bit shocking how foreign some of them feel now... i think they still look good but i'd approach them very differently these days. i'm sure a year from now i'd feel the same way about the ones i'm currently drawing LOL

rappers ive been listening to 3 im learning with these drawings that i got a much easier time if someone's got one or two distinct+angular features: Prodigy was really easy cus he was so pointy, while Jeezy was a struggle cus the curves throughout his face feel a lot more subtle
