Cutie Marks: Right or Wrong?

So I’m a brony (if you couldn’t tell from my profile pic). I’m absolutely obsessed with My Little Pony. I’ve seen every episode at least 5 times (and Equestria Girls 3 times). The only thing I don’t like about MLP? Cutie Marks.

For all the non-bronies let me explain what a cutie mark is. A cutie mark is a mark on the pony’s flank that appears there once the pony discovers his/her super special talent. A pony usually discovers their talent and gets their cutie marks at a young age (guesstimated between the ages of 5-7). That cutie mark usually sets the stage to their whole life like what they’ll so in the future. That’s what I don’t like about them.

I guess you can say I’m just like the cutie mark crusaders (expect I'm older and a human). I'm 18-years-old and still don't know my super special talent. I mean I think I know. I have a few ideas. It's just that every time I try to do something to figure it out it ends up going wrong. The cutie mark crusaders are three little fillies (Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, and Apple Bloom) who are the only ones in their class that don't have cutie marks. They get bullied all the time for being a "blank flank". I think it's perfectly normal though for them to not know what their super special talent is. I mean these three haven't even left Ponyville (expect for once when they went to the Crystal Empire). They don't even know what the world has in store. So much potential all getting stopped by some stupid cutie mark. I'm 18 and I don't have my metaphorical cutie mark. It just bugs me. Maybe I'm just being too sensitive but I just don't like that idea. Do anyone agree with me?
